Ha ha, tell my cousin in Oakland that...gunshots going off every night. Whereas in da LBC I only note such every few days.

Call me crazy, but somehow I doubt it's your law abiding gun owner doing the shooting.

NOT TRUE.
Thats just another lie being promoted to gain public agreement that gun control is a constructive thing. It's not!
California's "strict gun control" laws just make it harder and more expensive for an average citizen to protect themselves, their families and their homes.
They do NOTHING to get guns out of the hands of criminals.

Just like the fact that all guns are basically illegal here in Mexico yet we have places almost as dangerous as Chicago, DC or Houston if you want to look at the number of shootings

Californians need to rise up and follow what Colorado voters did and recall a couple of their anti-gun politicians. Colorado voters shut down their two anti-gun politicians and sent a message to the rest that the Second Amendment isnít to be ignored. Hopefully there will be more to follow.

Sorry, but the statistics quoted in the letter to the editor come from an independent study. U r wrong, the letter is correct: Between 1990 and 2010 Cal reduced its firearm mortality rate by 52 percent -- 24 percentage points more than the rest of the nation.

U.S .gun laws are so loose, anyone can buy guns at gun shows, without background check, that Mexican criminals get their guns from the U.S.

Absolutely true. California's gun restrictions have done EXACTLY what they were meant to do ....

They were meant to deprive honest citizens if their right to legally arm themselves for self defense.

Mission accomplished.

You are wrong about where the guns come from here

Besides the thousands oslama gave to the cartel the vast majority of the guns seized here are not from the USA

Full auto AK's don't come from the USA
The full auto H&k and FN are also not made or sold in the USA

Tell me where in the USA can you buy a m16??

Now how about the Sten look a likes that are made and sold here for under 200 dollars??

Yes a brand new full auto for under 200 dollars

Nearly every junk yard is making them from scrap car parts

You donít have a clue. You need to call Eric Holder and heíll have any weapon you want delivered by the BATFE to your door, no tracking required.

"If gun control saved lives or made the public safe Chicago and D.C. would be the safest cities." This letter proves the author is a liar.

The lack of mass shooting in Australia proves the Port Arthur shooting was deliberately instigated by police to help justify more gun control.

I love it when people are killed with guns. It makes me giddy. What can I say?
