I just love it when Libtards try to compare themselves to Republicans like the forget that the Democrat Party was the party of slavery and voted against the Civil Rights Acts of 1957 and 1964 in greater numbers than Re4publicans did!
Do you know how many Libtards think that Abe Lincoln was a Democrat? Talking about rewrighting history!!!
Abe Lincoln Is A Democrat, According To A Plaque On NIU's Campus That Actually Isn't Wrong
One could argue about how Honest Abe would more likely be in the Democratic party today, rather than the GOP. But that's only speculative, and the fact is Lincoln was the first Republican president of the United States.

BUT OF ALL DEMOCRATS 31% voted Against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 compared to ONLY 15% of ALL Republicans!!!

As far as the civil strife in Iraq, we should have pulled out of Iraq just as soon as Saddamn Hussein was dead. Same thing with Afghanistan, just as soon as bin Laden was cold!

Yes, Iraq will live with George W. Bush in infamy.

After 10 years of internecine guerrilla warfare ( 1979-1989 ) the Red Army with the second best military on earth could not win in Afghanistan.

They came as liberators but were met by fierce resistance outside Baghdad. Humiliating treatment of prisoners and heavy-handed action in Najaf and Fallujah further alienated the local population. A planned handover of power proved unworkable. Britain's 1917 occupation of Iraq holds uncanny parallels with today - and if we want to know what will happen there next, we need only turn to our history books...

Misery Index (8.26) equals Unemployment rate (7.3) plus Inflation rate (0.96)
The misery index was initiated by economist Arthur Okun, an adviser to President Lyndon Johnson in the 1960's. It is simply the unemployment rate added to the inflation rate. It is assumed that both a higher rate of unemployment and a worsening of inflation both create economic and social costs for a country. A combination of rising inflation and more people out of work implies a deterioration in economic performance and a rise in the misery index.

"Sanctions" a Big Stick? Hardly. When Reagan blew Muammar Gaddafi out of his tent with bombs dropped from F-111s, that is The Big Stick!!!
But what really changed Muammar Gaddafi was in 1991 during the Persian Gulf War.
Iraq was at the end of a small and shallow gulf and surrounded by countries who were not friendly to the U.S. but we kicked Saddamn's butt. Now Libya has over 600 miles of coastline on the Mediterranean Sea which 90% of his population within 100 Km of the sea and he was a hundred times more vulnerable than Saddamn ever was and he knew it and changed his ways!!!

There is one more point and that many Republicans are actually Libertarians like Ron and Rand Paul who do not like governments telling them what to do. And example if you run a restaurant and some smelly customers come in, you should have the right to ask them to leave.
And since POOR people tend to smell and that a greater percentage of poor people are black, a greater percentage of black people smell badly. It is not racist, it has to do with poor hygiene.
And that is also why blacks, American Indians, Hispanics, etc. have higher rates of heart and kidney disease. It is not their race but poor people have poorer dental health and gingivitis is the leading cause of heart and kidney disease!!!
You will probable claim that since black people only make up 13% of our population they should have only 13% of the heart attacks and kidney failures but you know you'd be wrong!

Is 7% Unemployment Really An Improvement?
By Douglas A. McIntyre December 7, 2013
Yesterday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the unemployment rate had dropped to 7% for the first time in five years, based on November numbers. American employers added 203, 000 jobs. But, by contrast, looking back to when the U.S. was truly prosperous, what was “normal” then? The answer is a jobless rate of well under 5%. It is an illusion to claim that America has returned to prosperity, when the job market is still in a shambles.
Many economists say that the trouble with the present jobs market is that so many people are underemployed, and millions have left the job market altogether. The real picture is bleaker than that. From December 2005 to November 2007, there was not a single month when unemployment rose above 5%. In three of those moths, the rate was only 4.4%.
Maybe the Great Recession was so deep that an unemployment rate well above 5% is the “new normal” A year ago, the Fed, particularly its chief Ben Bernanke, said the central bank had to keep interests low until the jobless rate dropped to 6.5%. If that is a benchmark for a robust recovery, then the jobs numbers of just seven years ago have lost their meaning.
One critical figure which did not make the headlines about the jobs report is that the number of unemployed persons was 10.9 million. How can that be put in perspective? According to 2012 Census estimates, the four largest cities in the U.S. after New York–Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and Philadelphia–together had 10.3 million residents. By that yardstick, the pool of jobless Americans is massive.
And, also buried in the coverage of the data was the other set of measurements about the fact that the job market is still grim:

As long as Obama is in charge, no number on jobless rates will be satisfactory for you. Hell, unemployment could be at 1% and you'd blame Obama for it not being 0%.

Still waiting for your evidence, for something, that proves that WW1 ended in 2010 and that the U.S. or U.N. or both declared war on N.Korea. A simple acknowledgement that you made it up will suffice.

In Feb 2009, when Obama took over, the cost of a gallon was $2.67

Today, it is $3.30 a gallon.

If we add compounded inflation of 2% per year to that number from 2009 to 2013 , we arrive at $2.94 a gallon. Still a bit higher than it should be, BUT the GWB economy had collapsed, consumption was down. That's why gasoline prices were down from $3.27 a gallon in May 2007.

Rogue, you're not being very impressive with your STFU's. Is that what you'll tell me if I set you straight and REPEAT ad infinitum that the daily DJIA AND the cost of a gallon of gasoline have ZILCH to do with the president, except over a very long period of time? Both will fluctuate, it's normal, it's all fixed by the rich 1%. The rake it in, you pay. And, strangely enough, you like.

Yes, And I POSTED A LINK to prove my point on both WWI and the Korean War but you seem to forget that, over and over and over again. And that is why I call you a Libtard in that you will never accept any fact that is against your logic.
Oh, by the way, it was the Roaring Twenties that started the Depression of 1929 and which was not caused by Prohibition but by Calvin Coolidge's laissez faire economic policies.
