Because it was the second longest war in history... and if only we were still there, we could catch up with the longest war in history, Bush's other world.

Let's think of what the Bush war in Iraq has gotten the USA.

If that's what victory takes. You've heard of the Thirty Years' War (1618–1648)?

Saddam is dead. Obama's war against Omar Kadafi was faster, then Kadafi was cooperating with WMD and nuclear arms compliance inspectors and Saddam wasn't. Obama's war cost its casualties as much as any casualty of the Iraq war, but admittedly far fewer Americans died overthrowing Omar Kadafi than Saddam Hussein. Who knows how many Libyan's have died since Obama's war?

What has Obama's war in Libya gotten America other than a dead Ambassador and his guards? Are we any safer with Omar Kadafi dead?

Just before the Iraq War, Saddam was firing on American pilots as they patrolled the UN No-Fly zones. Remember that? Some representatives actually cared about the lives of America's military lost over decades of controls against Iraq's aggression, invasions and strategically deceptive WMD operations.

Nobody hid evidence of Saddams chemical weapons attacks in what is now Iraqi Kurdistan. Might as well blame Colin Powell for holding a vial of simulated Anthrax at the UN?

What lies did Obama proffer to congress for approval of the Libya war? That's right, none because Obama didn't get congressional approval for war against the Omar Kadafi and the government of Libya. Our Teflon President doesn't need Congress.

Who cares?

Wasn't the reason we went to war until after we went to war and couldn't find any WMDs and Bush needed another excuse to distract from the real reason- which was to get a leg up in the 2004 election.

There was no US war in Libya.

If you want to talk strikes on Libya not authorized by Congress I am sure you will want to start with Ronald Reagan.

Californians don't care how much other people suffer. Anyone who pays attention knows that 90% of Californians have zero representation in their own government. Years of ignoring the Union warning label on politicians let the Unions run Operatives as "democrats'.

The pathetic result is that this epidemic of political ingorance have made non Union/GovtEmp nothing more than Tax Slaves.

June 26, 2008, HR 2642, Iraq and Afghanistan War Funding, Unemployment Benefits Extension, and GI Bill; Senator Obama votes Yea.
