Oh it is common knowledge that untold millions of people all lost coverage or had their rates explode. We know it is true, because FOX news and opiate addicts on the radio keep telling this over and over again. The strange part is they can not find a single confirmed case out of these millions of "victims".

I got a letter from my insurance company last month telling me my policy was being discontinued as a result of the ACA. It was fantastic news and I wish everybody could be so lucky.

As I have mentioned before I pay $3200 a month for a policy. It is not a good policy. It does not even cover doctors visits. It may seem odd that somebody would pay so much for such a lousy policy, but welcome to the world of individual insurance plans.

The ACA contains minimum requirements of what a policy should cover. These include paying to visit a doctor. As a result, my insurance company was told they had to upgrade the policy. When they did they choose to change the name of the policy. That's it. Changing the name. Not cancelling it.

The insurance company provided me with two options. One was to do absolutely nothing. Then they would roll me over into the new improved policy in January and there was even a rate reduction.

The second option was to check policies on the state exchange. I did and now have a much better policy with no deductible and it is less than half the price that I was paying before.

My previous post was getting long so I broke it in two.

We hear many, many stories, but nobody is able to back them up.

Last week Sean Hannity had three couples on the show who all told stories about how the ACA is ruining their lives. That seems strange since the ACA has not even come into effect yet.

Anyway the first couple owned a business, but they could not grow it because they could not hire new people. They had to reduce everybody else to part time status and they were just sick about the fact that they may have to let people go because of the ACA.

It turns out this guy only had 4 employees. Everybody knows that Obamacare has no effect on businesses with 49 employees or less. The law had no effect on him at all unless he was planing to hire 47 people at one time.

The second couple paid $13,000 a year for an individual policy. The sad thing was that one of their two children had a pre-exisitng condition and was not even covered under their policy.

I turns out they received the exact same letter I received, but for some reason never mentioned to Hannity that it was just a name change to the policy and had no effect on them.

When a reporter asked them why they did not check out the policies on the exchange they said they opposed the ACA and besides they heard on TV that it did not work so they never bothered. They soon learned that there were comparable policies on the exchange that cost 60% less and would cover their uninsured daughter.

The third couple had also received a letter from their insurance company telling them of the name change to their policy. Unlike my case where the price went down with the traditional policy they claimed their rates were going up by " 50 percent or even 75 percent" although they could not say specifically by how much.

When a reporter contacted them they said they pay about $10,000 a year for their policy. When asked if they checked out the exchanges they said they opposed Obamacare and out of principle refused to look at the polices available. Of course it turns out that there were equivalent polices on the exchanges that cost $3700 a year. That is 63% less than they are paying now.

If somebody chooses to pay twice as much as they have to for an inferior product out of principle good for them. That is there own business, but they should not be calling themselves victims.

As for people who prefer to keep a sick child uninsured out of spite to Obama the child is the victim in that family. Not the parents.

The bottom line is that there is a lot of false information being spread in conservative outlets. Take it all with a large grain of salt.

As I said before, watch the Washington Journal C-Span, there have been many callers who claim to have been dropped or saw their rates go sky high. So, are you calling these people liars? They sound pretty sincere to me. Also, a question, what is your deductable?

Your story might have been believable if you said your deductible was 3200.Typical libturd distort the truth.

So you take antidotial evidence as FACT? LMAO!!! But 300 million Americans are seeing their rates drop and another 50 million are going to be insured so you aren't taxed for their free ER visits, and might actually be able to go to an ER for a heart attack and not die waiting in the holding area.

PS. Those 300 million sound pretty sincere to me. All these losers crying here should have joined the US military and served their country and they would have free health coverage today. But conservatives never take responsibility for their own actions, like fighting for their own freedoms.

I notice those crying had representatives who sat on their hands for 4 years and offered nothing but obstruction. I also notice those whining our in love with their capitalist Obama Care and would dread a socialist National Health Care that cuts out all the middle men and lowers overall costs paid by taxes. It seems to work so well most of the industrial nations are using a form of it.

The article states the facts, "Experts attributed the wide differences between states to the varying number of insurers competing and other free-market factors." Oh, "free market factors," like insurance companys, pharma, CEOs, stock market parasites, corruption, etc.

And a screwed computer program can be fixed, coservative stupidity is a lifelong diesease. It took Bush 2 years to enroll the US churches in his Faith Based Charitys, and that is still a failure that churches admit they cannot care for all Americans. What kind of glitch is that!!!
