So birth controls pills might be covered as preventative care, but prenatal vitamins aren't. Healthy babies are just not important I gather.

Good to see some common sense-b.c should be covered by insurance.

It is already covered by 90% of health insurance plans.

It's a great idea and one has to wonder what took so long!

Far too many unintentional pregnancies from lack of affordable or available birth control.

I'm fortunate that all but one insurance plan I've had covered birth control pills. Even when that one plan didn't, I had to buy them, anyway. It's better than getting hooked on pain pills. A person can't function when she's cramping so badly she's rolling around on the bed crying for 11 hours. You miss your final, etc. When home remedies and over-the-counter meds don't help, birth control pills are often the easy solution.

We're in the 21st century. It amazes me how some insurance companies still think birth control is prescribed only for birth control.

Interesting how in Post Christian secular America, healthy fertility is treated as an illness.

Women will spend top dollar for "healthy" organic foods, and then dump massive amounts of manufactured hormones into their body at the same time.

I guess we now all live in a village where every taxpayer is responsible for every stranger's needs. What ever happened to paying for the things you consume by yourself?

Well at least if the birth control doesn't work, Obamacare will pay for the abortion. Whew.

Have at it, kids!

Can you tell me where I can find a good job that will cover the $600 or $700 pelvic exam and $35/$40 a month for the bc? I work and only make a about $10,000 a year. I am not on any public assistance and I barely can afford food. Not all of us are fortunate as you apparently.

There is Medicaid and Planned Parenthood, for starters.

Very great deal and very smooth transaction. PILLSMEDSHOPdotCOM was on top of my order and shipped it within a day. Thats all that they have control over and they done it fast. It sat in customs for a little bit but they have no control over the sluggishness of how customs work.

Along with this new implementations in healthcare system, the poorest part of US still cannot afford medical insurance. Instead of making donations to poor people and prevent the rise of their quantities with birth-control methods, they allow those who can provide a good life for children not to have them. It's a big pity.
