Calif. court: Scouts must surrender abuse files
A California appellate court has upheld a Santa Barbara judge's order saying the Boy Scouts of America must surrender decades of confidential files detailing alleged child sex abuse.

The boy scouts should not be able to protect pedopiles within their ranks from prosecution. Instead of immediately reporting the pedophiles to the police, they allowed the rapes of innocent children to continue. Now they try to keep the files confidential to protect themselves from prosecution.
