The rich can fail through ignorance, arrogance and stupididity, this will never stop. Nicole did not deserve her life taken, but her dad should have heard a ferrari been backed out of a house, but then my house never even had a garage,a car or much money.I am sorry Mr C-too much money, that's quarter of a million $, that's a good life for many a family, for years, you FUCKING EMPTY SOULS, if any rich comedian finds this funny,do come to my place i will bury an axe in your head, film it and send it to your mom&dad.Nobody seems remotely concerned about the millions, nay billions of humans been murdered, ethnic cleansing, political illuminati agenda.I agree poor nikki, now change the 3rd world, or this greed and consumerism will consume you/us all. May the Gods watch over us all.Peace.X

I'm not an American and I'm not much familiar about the American road rules. Looking at the pictures and the news/comments blaming Nikki for the accident solely, I just felt why the Honda Civic driver is not suspected for prank. The Honda Civic driver had alcoholic beverages in his car and was 20. Nikki was in a bad mood but not toxicated. Why would she want to overtake the Honda from the right? From the photo of the crashed Honda Civic, it looks like, or I just imagine Nikki was trying to overtake the Honda from the left when suddenly the Honda moved to the left and Nikki tried hard to dodge from hitting it since she was left with little options in those few moments buckle clipping the Honda on rear right wheel. I don't know people, but something doesn't seem right here. It seems like everyone is only bothered that an 18 year old girl is driving this costly car. But what makes them think she would drive it so carelessly? She might have wanted to disobey her parents but definitely not damage their property.

I'm a little hazy on this.

The parents sued and won because the photos were leaked, causing them trauma? Am I right?

But they sued because they were prohibited from viewing her remains? Did I get this right?

They sued because in America you can make blood money very easily.
The mom even wrote a book that validated her pathetic existence as a "victim".

Their pathetic, spoiled little turd of a daughter ran off in daddy's Porsche and it's everyones' fault but hers, or theirs.

What lowlifes.

People die in terrible ways on the highways everyday....nobody gives a crap about them....
I think the difference is that most people who die on the highway don't get photos of their mutilated corpse sent deliberately to their family members. That is why this case is a big deal. It's what happened after she died, not just her death.

I am fairly certain they sued over the fact that the CHP sent out her photo to friends, which led to its leaking and thus to people torturing them. I dunno, I think that's what it was.

Re: "I have little sympathy for the girl herself

" this as natures way of weeding stupid genes from the gene pool..."

You're a complete idiot and jackass! A teenager taking a spin in dad's car without permission is a pretty normal occurrence ....stupid? Perhaps, but at 18 years old what can you expect, it's barely an adult and doing stupid things is how we all learn, it does not mean the girl was a stupid person. YOU are the stupid one for assuming so and for your asinine comment.

While I believe that whoever is torturing the parents by creating that MySpace acct and showing the pictures is a vile, cruel person...I hope that these parents DO NOT win their case against the ChP. Like it or not, their daughter has become the poster child for other teens that drink and drive, or speed while driving...Teens have a tendency to believe that they are immortal. These photos are a bloody reminder that they are NOT!
The girl was NOT drinking or under the influence of anything. Get your facts straight. "Speed while driving".. another idiot with a stupid comment....virtually every driver in America is guilty of speeding at one time or another.
