It's about time we get this harmless drug legalized. If we get it legalized and taxed, we'll generate income for the state.

What a shame that California wants to legalize marijuana which is much more harmful to one's health rather than allow same sex marriages to occur which hurts nobody. California seems to be going to the dogs.

Here’s an idea, let’s legalize gay marriage and marijuana. Just imagine a bunch of gay stoners too lazy to spread aids.

Uninformed people calling recreational pot users Losers are like throwing stones in a glass house, or the "pot" calling the kettle black. I'm sure all you pot bashers have never had a drink or taken a pill to relax.(yea right)
Pot is a great way for people who do not drink to relax. I do not drink but I do get high.
And for all you people calling me a loser
I live in Palos Verdes (my home is paid for) I also own a business that does over a million dollars profit every year. I never miss work I have 20 employees that work under me. I opened my business at 25 years old. I have smoked weed since I was 21 I do not like alcohol. Im now 46 run 4 miles every other day and I'm way healthier than all you drinkers with your fat guts driving next to me drunk.
Alcohol used to be illegal, it was legalized to get the country out of the great depression, regardless people were drinking before it was legalized and still would be had it not been legalized. Alcohol is way worse than pot. How many people do you know that were killed by a high driver? alcohol? put that in your pipe and smoke it!

What? Legalizing it will have the exact opposite affect. The black market will be cut off and the Mexican Cartels will lose a very valuable commodity.
Also, to piggie back of the PV guy. How many people do you know that died from smoking to much weed? I could go out tonight and smoke a pound of it and all that would happen is me falling asleep. What if I went out and drank a gallon of alcohol?
