So we've got another politician who operates on "The public be damned. I'M THE DECIDER!" Those federal government employees flanking Governor Jerry Brown at the July 25th press conference should be trying to turn the California Delta into a national park instead of an underground twin chunnel plan to suck so much water out of the Sacramento River to bypass the Delta.

Salt water intrusion already has come as far as Pittsburg. Won't less water in the Delta have the salt water intrusion coming farther east? Will we see sharks in Stockton and Sacramento (other than those like Gov. Brown, his billionaire buddies in Southern California and the federal government goons that flanked him today like Mafia guys)?

Several years ago I recall, when excessive water was taken from Sacramento River existing pumps, it left two Freeport Marinas boats sitting on mud. Under this new genius plan of Gov. Jerry Brown, will my 28' Bayliner boat at Village West Marina in Stockton be sitting in mud? If so, it will kill a huge recreational industry with many marinas employing hundreds of people in the Delta. Village West Marina alone has 700 slips. When we retired from our jobs in the Bay Area in 2006, we bought a condo across from Village West Marina in Stockton. Thus negative impacts on the marinas will also extend to real estate sales and many other allied businesses.

Perhaps it's time to break California into two states--today may be the first shot of the new civil war in California! If they start doing eminent domain on the California Delta farmers, many whose families have farmed here since the late 1800s and early 1900s, I don't think they will go quietly in the night.

I do not recognize the authority of brown or obama to steal fresh water from the Sacramento River to send to Los Angeles. Brown and his neighbors need to quit dumping their poops and urine in this river for starters and then stop sucking up to obama and southern california water wasters.
