Arnold was a smart governor and benefitted Californians up until his party's dogma started getting in the way.

I think Arnold is a very bright guy, who is too much taken with himself. I hope he does well.
He got into office because of what George W Bush allowed ENRON to do to California's electricity, a rape.
GOP candidate Arnold blamed Gov. Grey Davis for the program of national deregulation sponsored by his own Republican Party; and somehow, with his celebrity, rode this lie into office.

He should do well. He is a leader, who can grasp large ideas.
He is also a girly-man.

I can still remember when Arnold was a bodybuilder trying to break into acting, and then after years of starring in American action films, everyone doubted he could do comedy. Who would have thought the guy would go on to be governor of California while raising kids with two different women (one of them Maria Shriver!) under the same roof?
Now the man can add think tank guru to his resume.
This guy could marry the Olsen twins and become Secretary-General of the United Nations, if that's what he wanted.
