Two simple reasons why Latinos don't vote Republican:

1. Republicans are xenophobes.
2. Republicans do noting for people of lower income status.

Nthing about religion is going to change that and Republicans should be aware that the second country in the Western Hemisphere to legalize same sex marriage speaks Spanish (though to be precise about the land of Evita and Che, most of its residents are white Europeans and not mestizos as in the rest of Latin America).
