Couple Drowns, Son Missing After Being Swept Out to Sea in Attempt to Save Dog
According to a report from the Eureka Times-Standard, a California husband and wife drowned Saturday and their 16-year-old son remains missing after they were swept into the Pacific ocean in an attempt to recover their dog.

This is what happens when people elevate the value of an animal to human levels.I would have stood on the beach and called for the dog to swim ashore,and if he had not been able to,I would have bought me another one.Same as I would do if my dog needed 8 or 9 hundred dollars worth of treatment at the vet ,put it down,and buy another. It's cheaper in the long run,and the next one might be better than the first.
