Anchor Baby Citizenship rewards women for becoming illegal aliens and adds more than 200,000 citizens to the United States each year.

Governor Owens testified that illegal aliens cost the state of Colorado well into the millions of dollars per year. In particular, he said, educating illegal aliens costs the state more than $300 million a year. Aurora Mayor Ed Tauer testified that hospital care for illegal aliens in Aurora costs almost $10 million per year and his city pays more than $5 million for police and fire services provided to illegal aliens. "This is the number one issue that citizens of Colorado are concerned about," said Mayor Tauer.

Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation said, "The actual costs of low-skilled immigrants are much more than anyone estimates." Both Rector and Paul Cullinan of the Congressional Budget Office said the Senate guest worker amnesty will cost taxpayers billions of dollars. Mr. Cullinan said the legislation could cost at least $49 billion over the next decade, compared with $2 billion for the House enforcement bill. Rector and Cullinan again agreed that the taxes immigrants would pay will not offset the costs because they are often low-skilled workers who earn less than others in the workforce.

Two young men charged with shooting a pregnant woman as she lay in a vacant lot could face an additional murder charge of killing the woman's fetus, a detective investigating the case said yesterday.

Tracy Owen, 32, was due to give birth any day and may have been in labor when she was killed early Monday morning, said Metro police detective Robert Swisher.

Antonio Dejesus Idelfonso, 17, and Eliseo Marcelino-Quintero, 22, told police they killed the woman because they thought they had hit her with their pickup truck and were afraid they would get into trouble, Swisher said.

BS. The little info booklet they give to the illegals plainly states that they do NOT need to worry, "We are not required by law to report you to ICE, if you need assistance, feel free to apply." If just ONE member of that household has a birth certificate (be it fake or real), the entire family qualifies for public assistance. The illegals become invisible to the case workers because they don't report ANYTHING concerning illegals. They will hound the hell out of legal families, however. I think they are afraid to hound the illegals because of that stupi group, the ACLU and all of their lawsuits. I wish someone would take that organization DOWN, it's the biggest crock (next to our government) that ever existed!

Daniel doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. Mexicans are coming across our borders everyday going to school and they live in Mexico. There is someone stateside that charges them to use their address. If the people don't pay the fee then they will call the school and tell them they don't live there anymore. Here in Los Angeles it appears that 85% of Mexicans are already on food assistance programs, whether or not they are employed. It’s a running gag even to Mexicans whose grandparents were born here - they work and still collect from various social services. The numbers of latinos you see in line with food stamps, WIC, etc. is stunning. The first and fifteenth in LA County bring out even more hordes of blacks and browns taking advantage of the twice monthly spoils taken from the pockets of white taxpayers. This is one reason they are so obese. They are being overfed - on our dime. They eat and eat and eat. It might cost them in health, but it costs them nothing in cash. And since it seems they all get free healthcare due to their protective coloring, then why worry? BTW, the figure of 25% of latin kids being overweight can’t be correct. Take a drive by any school filled with latinos and it appears that better than 50% are overweight, much of it piled on with the free breakfast and lunches that latino children all get courtesy of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Oh, I should mention, if you have an “hispanic” surname, they will send each of your children tickets for free breakfast and lunch at taxpayer expense. Without bothering to see what your income level is, if you are working and so on. Doesn’t matter. The “man” owes it to you.
