I am looking for Ltd. CHARLES D RICE Vietnam Pilot..POW released in 1973 after 5.5 years. My mother has talked about you many times. She wore your pow bracelet. My aunt says she saw you return home. I would like to touch base with you. I have read about you on some web sites.
His wife is Marci and the bio says he lives in Arizona was born in NY.

My sister had his bracelet, and we went to Long Island, NY, welcome him home in the early 70s (can't remember the year). It was an incredible experience. He does indeed live in Arizona.

I also wore a POW bracelet for Lt. Charles D. Rice. When he came home, he sent me a letter requesting the bracelet, and he invited me to a service to honor him and welcome him home. I was unable to attend (I think I was only 16 at the time). I think of him often...it was an honor to wear his name.

I have his bracelet too. Does anyone know how to contact him so I can send it to him?

I wore a wristband during my Navy days 1969 thru 1973. His name was LT. Charles Rice dated 10-26-67. Recently found it while putting together my own Vietnam Memorial from things I had collected. Hope all is well with Charles Rice.

I also have his bracelet as well. Found it in Lorain Ohio in about 1972 and have been holding on to it since as I had no Idea what it was until I saw a post recently on Face Book. I hope all is well with him as I just read his Bio. Wow is all I can say. If anyone knows where he or his family lives I would love to send him the bracelet.

I too wore Chuck Rice's POW bracelet. He was a Pre Flight classmate of mine (Class 08-65) in Pensacola, FL before we started flight training. Chuck was a heck of a nice guy and I'm so glad he made it back home safely

I also wore Lt Rice's POW bracelet. I was seated next to 2 ladies during a flight home from Tampa yesterday and the topic of our individual POW bracelets came up. Each one of us remembered for whom we wore the bracelet.
