Probably and old wives tale but I heard Russian troops are in Venezuela and Russian submarines have been spotted near the US.

Most unlikely. I first heard that on back in about 1965 from some radio preacher, probably Armstrong, who insisted that the Chinese were invading the USA through Mexico. It is remarkable that that old story keeps coming up like the flowers in spring. The Chinese haven't invaded anyone, much less the USA.

The Chinese have invaded quite a few countries. Tibet, Vietnam, Russia, and India have been subject to Chinese invasions since the establishment of the Communist state in 1949. Let's not forget their constant ramblings about Taiwan, the Spratly Islands, and (until 1997) Hong Kong, and (until 1999) Macau.

As for the Chinese troops in Mexico, it's never been officially confirmed but Scott Gulbranson's book is not the first time I have heard of the reports. There have been reports dating back to the late 1990s, some were obviously exaggerated way out of proportion but a good chunk were pretty plausible.

Why not we have troops all over the world.

Should they not be allowed the same right?

Hell we even have troops in many former soviet block countries.

Maybe they will open some bases and give some Mexicans jobs and more of them little bastards will stay home instead of coming over here.

Tibet is a territorial matter since it has been considered part of China for some centuries and was only severed from China after an invasion by the British who wished to use Tibet as a buffer between India and China. After the civil war it was reclaimed. Taiwan was simply the refuge for the leaders of the losing side of the civil war and independence was never recognized. Hong Kong and Macao were simply colonies of Euroean states.

Russia and India have both had border skirmishes with China and it is not necessarily any sort of act of invasion to protect one's borders.

China never invaded Vietnam although there were also some border skirmishes there during their war against the French and American invaders.

The simple fact is that China has no history of invading other nations aside from those border and territorial clashes. The US, on the other hand has invaded nearly every country in the world including the USSR and China.

This nonsense about invading Chinese is foolishness now and has been for decades. Every once in a while some right wing kook starts claiming that the Chinese are invading through Mexico and it has never been shown to be true in any sense. It is true that some Chinese people have tried to enter the US through Mexico as have people from Central America and elsewhere, but that is hardly an invasion.

China is a rogue state which is hell bent on establishing its hegemony across the world. It has been wrongly claiming territory from India. In fact it has illegally occupied Aksai Chin & Tibet. China is not protecting its borders, in fact it is laying illegal claims to other nations territories. Further, it is helping other rogue nations like North Korea, Pakistan & Sudan. The less said about that, the better.

China, under the last dynasty and British India had some border problems and those carried on to the present, but, again, Tibet was never an independent nation unless you think being invaded by the British is independence, a view not shared by many of your countryman who were dissatisfied with the situation which you now praise for Tibet. A casual look at Chinese history, even Chinese architecture will show that Tibet was long considered part of China. A sort of Wild West where Monkey kings could to in search of sutras, perhaps, but still a part of the country.

After a long civil war and invasion from Japan and others the reds won power when the "nationalists" fled. It is a bit late to go around crying about it. It is fair to note, I think that the Chinese have had fewer border problems than India, which lost all of Pakistan and Bangladesh, and have yet to settle the matter of Kashmir and some parts of the border with China.

Monkey kings are much better than Chinese Communists who are responsible for deaths of millions of people. Remember the Revolution of 1967 where entire China was in chaos and dis-array (to put it mildly). India & the world had no choice but to accept Tibet as part of China as the military was sent to subjugate the Tibetan people & culture. India has not lost Pakistan & Bangladesh but rather these states were formally created & India did not send the military like the Chinese to subjugate them (as in Tibet). Also, it cannot be denied that China has been behaving aggresively with all its neighbours (including India)& making baseless claims of territory from them. Such behaviour is totally uncalled for as land area of China is much much bigger than its neighbours.

Land area of India is given as 3,287,590 kmē and the land area of China is given as 9,572,900 km2 so that is correct, but it doesn't take account of all that Tibetan plateau which is largely wasteland that can't be farmed or, in the case of some of it, inhabited. I wonder what the habitable area comparison is? I live in Arizona in which some eight million people inhavit two cities and the rest of the state is all but empty with much of it uninhabitable and this city lives by tunnels that bring water two hundred miles from the Colorado River.
There are indeed border disputes all over the world, withe Kashmir dispute being one of the most militarized and with the Indian army being called up from time to time to stare down the Pakistanis across the rest of that border. As I recall, mind you, I was kid at the time, the Indian and Chinese quarrel was about some remote land used to build a road in the mountains. But neither nation has much of a history of foreign wars.
