The most sensible solution to this problem is to make it illegal for black people to own firearms. Anyone who doesn't agree with that isn't really looking to for a way to reduce the number of black youths being killed by guns.

According to the letter the Pastors wrote:
"There is widespread support for sensible regulations to keep guns out of the hands of criminals here in Arkansas"
Uh, it's already against the law for criminals to have guns in Arkansas. More regulations just mean more laws the criminals will ignore. Those additional regulations will only further infringe upon the rights of law abiding citizens to own guns to protect themselves from those same criminals who ignore the law and use guns anyway.
One wonders what the Pastors would think if a group was lobbying our elected representatives to violate their right to freedom of religion instead of our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
