Prisoners with money can make astonishing arrangements for communicating with and controlling people outside prison.Still,it may very well be,that since all Tony can do is give orders, rely on what people tell him and have to trust what he is told since he can't check things out for himself,he retains little of the control he once had over the Alamite's lives and the business of the organization.Tony maintained a sort of Machiavellian/Hitlerian chain of command characterized by arbitrary, overlapping authority among his immediate subordinates (older brothers and sisters) while keeping absolute authority for himself which fostered mistrust and competition for his favor among them. Now that Tony is permanently unable to catch anyone himself and thus keep up this weird chain of command, true control may well be with an older member or alliances of a few formed since he's been gone.If this is the case,as it well may be,it would be wise to suspect that the Alamo subculture might follow Tony's example and continue beatings, smiting and the maintenance of harems of young girls by older brothers now in control.

Good points Modesto. From what I understand, years prior to his arrest, ta rarely walked out of that house in Fouke. He was in there 24/7. It might have been difficult for him to have absolute control. He would have had turn over a lot of trust to a few top "older bro". In turn they probably received access to an ample amount of cash that ta had stashed away. Of course the rank and file never get any of the cash.

The current activities of the older bros in charge? That is truly a touchy subject. If they get too wild and fnd folks hear about it, that could spark a mass defection or mutiny. They can't just "take the money and run" because then everyone will know that it was a scam all along.

Who said Tony stayed in the house 24/7?

Just my guess. How could he leave? If he left, all the girls would run away.

The many girls who remain in the Alamo organization are still in immediate danger,as are the kids in the communities local to their compounds. Most of the Alamite kids weren't recovered.
