I guess perception is reality. I, and all experts, see 2.5% as pathetic and is a result of pathetic leadership. You, on the other hand must see it for what it is, the best we will ever get out of Obama. He's running at full throttle and I think it sucks. But, hey if you think that 2.5% is acceptable then whatever.
Despite the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression and a series of shocks in its aftermath, the economy has gradually strengthened since mid-2009

Growth in the U.S. has outpaced that of other advanced economies affected by the global financial crisis.

State and local governments have been forced to cut deeply and shed jobs in response to fiscal challenges…

That would be due to the Tea Party and other assorted Republicans.

AN OPPOSED BY Haters LIKE THIS, THAT INCLUDES YOU.

That the white race is superior to people of color is the social contract conservatives have made with their supporters, and libertarians, Republicans, and teabaggers expand the supremacists reach by opposing issues such as healthcare for all, food assistance, social programs, and immigration reform because they tie them to rewarding people of color at the expense of the white race. It explains why poor white Americans who support Republican policies consistently vote against their own self-interests, and reveals the depth of hatred many white people harbor for people of color. In fact, despite his success and rise to the highest office in the land, President Obama has become the face of “the other” that besides being reviled as un-American is often accused of hating white people.

Look, there are more dumb white people than black, we use you as an example. His policies would be wrong regardless of race. It is the voting for your own self interest rather than the good of the nation that has gotten us into this mess we are in. You vote for the person that says what you want to hear. Most Socialists are white.

ALL HAIL OBAMA'S AMERICA!!! We are officially the best of the worst. Congrats Barney, your leader has done better at a proven failed governmental style than other nation. The problem is that it was Capitalism that made us far and away the most prosperous and most powerful nation in the world. Since Capitalism is what we Americans base our level of prosperity on, we are failing miserably. The "everyone's doing it" argument didn't work when we were teenagers trying to get our parents to let us do something we knew was wrong and it's not working for Obama as he's trying to sell it to the American people. It's only working on a select few who think people who earn alot of money are somehow evil if they don't spend their excess on things that those who think wealth is a bad thing believe is important. If I had the power to force you to spend your money supporting something you disagreed with, how do you think you would view how your money is spent, since it wouldn't be where you wanted to spend it?

The Syrian president stated that if we bombed his country they would retaliate along with his allies by bombing our embassies and other means of which we are all well aware including possibly bringing Saran gas into this country. Obama How could he not expect that his bombing would not bring havoc to us and our allies this president is going to bring about ww3.
The bible says that so goes the Middle East so goes the world.

Is that really how you feel? Is your argument so shallow that it stops at color of skin? There is infinite statistics that completely makes your argument null and void yet you cling to the one thing that can't be quantified as a factor. It's completely cowardly for you or any other progressive, socialistic, liberal to go there. Do you have no shame? You don't have to answer that.

Rest assured that there is something else at play here besides Syria. Syria is the smoke screen that is covering up something else the Obama administration is doing. What that something is, I don't know but if you look at Syria, you will find that the amount of attention being given to the situation is far too great for the magnitude of it. Sadaam Hussein supposedly killed 5000 of his own citizens which led us into Iraq. That's nearly 4X's the amount of people killed in Syria yet the urgency Obama is giving Syria seems to be more than that given to Iraq. It doesn't make sense. The truth will come out and I am curious to see what was so important as to use this much of America's resources to cover it up.

I agree wholeheartedly. Presidents are known for bombing to deflect the real truth. But please. This can start a real war what with retaliation upon retaliation. Leave those people alone. They will never stop fighting with each other. It is not our battle.

When you can't tell your friend from your foe, it's time to pack up and leave. We have more than enough oil under our country to make us energy independent. The need to maintain cordial relationships with Middle Eastern countries that hate us but supply us oil is no longer needed. We need to take our troops and our money and go home so we can fix our own problems.
