dog needs good home

i have an american pit bull terier. she is one yr old and has had all shots, i dont have papers on her but i am looking for a good home for her. i dont have a fence and she broke her 50ft chain three times. my neighbors don't like that. so i am looking for someone who would love her to take her. FOR FREE! she is house trained too, if you want her for inside. she is good with kids and other dogs, but can get ruff, she is 60 something pounds. please seriouse wanters only, i am trying to have her gone this week or so.

Please be very careful! There are people who will be happy to take your dog. They will then use it as bait for bitbull training. Or, you could have a very well dressed woman who just happens to work for an experimental lab! No, this is not crazy these things happen every day with free dogs and cats in the newspaper.

Make sure you give whoever takes her, the option to bring her back if it doesn't work out. Or she could wind up a stray or tied up in a yard never getting the love and attention she needs. I know it's tuff, I need a home for 2 stray cats. But they deserve a good home because we brought them into our lives. I wish you luck and most of all that precious little girl.

You should try a cable instead of a chain, you can get them for dogs over 100 lbs. I had a black lab that kept breaking chains and the smaller cables too. I found at Wal-mart a thing to hammer into the ground that will hold anything! It is made of steel and is bright orange. I believe they also have the cables now.
