The Clayton house does ghost tours for about eight dollars. You get to sit in on an investigation and bring your equipment. http://claytonhousefortsmith.com/

Hope you have fun this halloween.

Also..the Fortsmith museum of history has had some activity that they curators might be willing to talk about.

Haha, you are from Fort Smith, but have never heard of the house that glows or witch's grave off stateline road, if you are that into the public scene of paranormal investigation try the Fort Chaffee hospital, prison, or barracks (as did Bagans and his Ghost Adventures Crew)....you seem like you like the glamorous paranormal stuff though, so i would suggest staying away from stateline road (on the boarder, behind phoenix village mall)...I don't believe in this paranormal nonsense, but some really inexplicable stuff happens at the witches grave, head out the if you want to crap yourself...try around 3am, or, otherwise known as the "witching hour"

Do you know the EXACT location of the Witch's Grave? People know it is on Texas Road but nobody knows where to find it, i.e. what field it is in exactly.

Well I heard and am pretty sure of it myself that the 'glowing house' is fake...I even spoke to this Arkhoma cop about it and he pointed out to me how the security lights across the street on this industrial property are close & bright enough to where it makes the house look like it's glowing but far enough away you'd never guess w/out someone pointing it out first..And the witches grave I never heard of lol

The Arkhoma cop said a guy owns it and said that he has threatened to shoot trespassers.. I think your friends were just pulling your leg to scare you cause like I said my source is a cop himself..

The glowing house is a fact & 2 give u a lil history, the older couple that lived there many years ago had a murder / suicide! The husband shot his wife, killed his kids & turned the gun on his self .. so all u youngsters need 2 ask great grandma & grandpa about that chilling night!!! Bet they remember if they been in this town all they're life!!

They have built a housing edition on the grave and the glowing house was owned by a family member of mine they painted the house on accident with reflective paint like used on white lines on the highway so the streety lights make it look as if its glowing

Yeah, the "glowing house" is just an a house that is being hit with some light pollution from extremely bright lights from some industrial property(ies) that aren't too far from that particular house.. therefore, its fake.

However, the "Witches Grave" over off of Texas Road.. well, that's another story... that's a whole different ballgame so to speak. I've been out there plenty of times and almost every time I've been out there, I've executed 'E.P.V.' sessions and every single time I've done these E.V.P. sessions, I've been lucky enough to catch voices on my recorder. One in particular.. one E.V.P. that really sticks with me, even still to this day (this happened 9 years ago) is one where a voice said very CLEARLY.. "I'm dead now and I feel very cold. Am I sick?" I'll NEVER forget that voice. It was a young girls voice btw... and the night I caught/heard that E.V.P., as soon as I heard it, EVERY single hair on my body stood STRAIGHT up and I was hit with a brick wall of sadness. It actually brought tears too my eyes. It was like I was feeling this little girls pain and sadness.

Needless to say, ever since the night that happened to me.. I've not been back out there and I don't plan on going back out there for a long, long, long time.. if ever.

So yeah, if your planning on taking a visit to that grave yard?? All I can do is warn you to be prepared.

I'm wanting to go out to the Fort Chaffee hospital, prison and or the barracks, but, I'm not sure where they're located on the Fort Chaffee land and I don't feel like getting shot/arrested by the Military police out there.. but, again, at the same time.. I sure would love to be able to go out there one night and do my own little investigations into those three places. Hell, I'd be happy to just be able to check out just ONE of the haunted areas out on Fort Chaffe.

the witch's grave is no longer there. the owner got tired of kid's tearing up his fence to get to it. i used to live across the street from it . there is a new housing area built there so he might of sold the land for that to happen . and the glowing house only glow's because it is painted with the old lead based paint , i new some people that used to own it when i was a kid .

i have read the witch's head stone when it was still there . it said her name was susan morris (pretty sure it's been a long time now )and she was executed for practicing black magic . it also said that there was 500 of her followers buried in the field around her . her husband being one of them. he was buried on the north side of the field. it was dated 1790's.anyone who's really been there know's it was an old white marble mid-evil looking cross .

What year did this take place? My husband and his family have been around this town most of their lives and my husband's father and great-grandmother use to attend parties in that house, from what I was told.

The haunted prison is not far and I promise it's not where you'll get arrested or shot lol. I was just out there yesterday and their getting ready for their haunted house which I can't wait to attend. Turn on Frontier Road under the new construction that was built, turn right onto Taylor and cross over the railroad tracks come to the 4 way stop and take right and you'll cross over more tracks and it's on the end of that road. Have fun and good luck :)
