Bobbitt's proposal is substantially different than ASU's plan to offer redundant 4 year degrees 20 miles from an higher ranked university with easier accessibility for the students.

Just because ASU has a plan doesn't mean it's a good one, sort of like the campus in Mexico and those unaccredited engineering degrees they've been offering for decades. It may be time for the state to adopt Georgia's model for science and engineering funding so it goes to better use.
