The real damage was not done by the Nazis but by the Soviets. Parts of Germany were destroyed in the war but they were rebuilt. Germany lost land to Poland, Poland lost land to present-day Belarus and Ukraine. Thing is, Germany managed to rebuild itself while countries like Poland or Ukraine were a plaything for Stalin's moustache. He raped those lands of resources as well as culture. If anything, the Soviets should pay reparations to these countries for half a century of life in a shit-hole i.e. Soviet Union.
