Reporting from Seattle - It's looking like Lisa Murkowski isn't ready to give up the U.S. Senate seat she lost to Tea Party Express-backed candidate Joe Miller in the Alaska Republican primary - a supporter of the Republican senator said plans were underway Friday for a write-in campaign kickoff in Anchorage.

I actually think the GOP will pick up 3-4 seats in Senate in spite of their best efforts to screw it up. The House is really anybodys guess. With 435 races it is next to impossible to get any kind of accurate prediction even from the "experts". The GOP has to pick up 39 seats to take the House, and that seems to be at the top of even the most optimistic predictions from the likes of Fox News. Just about every toss-up race would have to break their way for the GOP to take the house. Considering their penchant to shoot themselves in the foot this year, I would bet my pension on it if I were you.
Based on what the experts are predicting and various polls I think the GOP will win the House.

But I'm content just to continue the debate over the issues and let election day take care of itself.

I'd rather exceed expectations rather than fail to deliver what I promised.
