Way to go Shelly, Now give us a trip report. We understand that "Promote" really means a family vacation using Tribal money to see the world. How is the South American trip by your side kick helping us?

It was a trip to just see Alaska. What economic developement is Mr. Shelly referring to? Partnerships???? The navajo tribe just needs to pull themselves up by their own boot straps.

What a joke, why even cover this story?

For Navajo owned businesses on the Navajo Reservation to start growing, Window Rock needs to GET RID OF REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICES. Start with Shiprock's. Change the laws to favor NAVAJO owned businesses. NOW!!!!!! Help the Navajo owned businesses in every way. Remove those individuals who only have self interests in mind. Investigate Shiprock RBDO. Come on you know what is going on there!!!!!

He's just following the foot steps of Mr. Obama, tips here, trips there, with no results.
Mr. Shelly, you are just another poster boy on the Navajo Reservation of corrupt tribal spending. I hope you enjoyed your trip on our tax dollars which the tribe holds it's hands out for every year. What partnerships are you saying help the tribe? Developement? Anyone who hopes to start a business is memet with mountains of red tape. How about infastructure for your people.
You are in office only because short sighted people, like yourself!

based upon his comments, he is clueless about what 8-a is all about. there was no mention about promoting or expanding Navajo businesses into markets other than the rez. Participation the the 8-a program most definitely helps. Partnership with other tribes is way off tangent.
Good for President Shelly

I for one think this is a great idea and as for the comment about partnership that is totally clueless @confused (perfect handle as you don't know what you are talking about) Anyone who knows the 8a knows that joint ventures ie partnerships duh - is the way to ramp up capacity quickly.
Investment in developing business opportunities is an investment worth making. Those ANC's didn't make millions by insulating themselves from the world.
