Oil companies pledge more Alaska hires

Oil companies seeking billions in reduced taxes from Alaska defended their local hire efforts at a state Senate hearing in Anchorage Thursday, while at least one promised changes to boost Alaska hire.

As if. Where are all these jobs going to come from when we have every Texan and Okie up here taking 90% of the jobs already? Are they all going to quit?

It's because of those asshats that my wages have dropped considerably. That and cheap ASRC shareholder/board of directors greed. The cost of living has increased and my wages have not in the last 15 years of being up here. Go the fuck home and stop taking money out of my family's mouths. Out of staters are Alaska's mexicans. Doing more for less and driving our local economy into the ground. And by the way, it was Russian and European immigrants that built this state. Not some flat footed jackass from the lower 48.
