At first I had faith in Johnson's vision. Make us the Walmart of retail? Why not? But advertising, and presentation wise I watched it fall apart. I should of known it made too much sense to work. I can never be rehired at JCPenneys again... In 6 months they won't even be a company I predict. If you decide to quit be prepared to burn your bridges. It is the Jcpenney way. Other than that I know people who worked with myself and I am sure thousands more who will get hurt the worst. The lifers, team members with 20 or more years of service. I feel for those who will lose needed benefits and pensions they worked hard for.
