Roncalli and Center Grove need to leave other schools' athletes alone and stop stealing them away.

How can Allie Day be swimming for Center Grove. She lives in Mooresville In with her mom and dad Steve and Dawn Day. Why hasn't someone called IHSAA about Jim Todd and the fact he is cheating. I've heard that recruiting is against the rules. I guess that Jim Todd and the CG athletic director will do anyhting to win, even cheat. Shame on you Jim Todd for being a liar and cheater.

Many times, they don't care. As for Allie Day, the only other way she can swim there besides living in the CG school system is for her parents to pay tuition. Some schools do that. If thats the case, are her parents the ones paying or is it someone else. Also you cannot do the tuition route if the sole purpose is to swim. Living with a relative does not count, it has to be the childs permanent residence, which get into alot of legal issues. I think the INDY STAR needs to investigate this, its right up there alley, you know exposing people that are cheating the system. The IHSAA has no bite anymore, theres a good old boys system thats going on here. Her is your opportunity INDY STAR to expose cheating in High School sports.

Let her stay at Center Grove. We don't want her here anyway. Mooresville doesn't need people who try to cheat the system. Our swim team is great without her. The Day's don't have any scrupples anyway!

Please Mooresville resident, your swim team is absolutely terrible. A true bottom feeder for the entire state, which is a shame when considering your beautiful pool.

As for the Day's, until someone gets enough evidence to prove it, who cares?

This is coming from someone who hates CG.

First of all, allie is a really nice person, and she is swimming for cg legally. And Mooresville you guys are horrible at swimming, so don't give CG crap, because our team won sectionals by alot. Also we would be an amazing team with or without allie, so all of you can go be jealous, but don't blame it on allie.

If she is so nice why is short changing the AG swimmers by not participating in AG State? With her participating some of the relays have shot at State/National records. The trickle down effect to the B relay also puts the team at a disadvantage. Training for sectionals is understandable, but why not show up for the relays? You would think she would want to help CGAC knock Carmel off the record board. The entire Indiana AG community is going to be watching the CG team this weekend and Allie's absence on the relays is going to be glaring.

Sounds to me like Mooresville resident is a little bitter over something...Here in Louisville you can go to our schools even if you aren't in our school district or county by paying tuition. No big deal. What good athlete wouldn't prefer to go where they are going to excel. By the way, Allie is a very nice/sweet teenager. It sounds like alot of you are just jealous. Students here in Louisville choose all different schools all over the district to attend due to academics and/or the athletic programs.

Before people come here and accuse one school's coach for recruiting, first look at how many other schools recruit. Carmel for one is probably the biggest recruiter in the state. Other schools such as Ben Davis, Warren Central, Westfield, and North Central have all recruited one way or another for high school athletics. As for Allie Day, coach Todd did not force her in any way to go to CG. She swam for CGAC and her family made the decision on their own.

Jim Todd doesn't cheat the system even if he knew how to. CGAC and is the best club team on the southside and it is understandable that swimmers from other schools want to train with them. When it comes to them switching over for high school it is probably because they want to be on a winning and competitive team and CG offers that. Jim Todd doesn't recruit. If it weren't for his age group staff feeding him great swimmers he wouldn't have much. Jim Todd has had many swimmers before Allie come from other schools to join the program such as Blake Norman, Chris Flamion, the Davises, Cody Adkins and even Michelle Mckehaan. He has also lost some of his HS athletes to other clubs and high schools but he doesn't hold it against the swimmers or the otehr coaches he realizes it as a personal descion for what is the best fit for the swimmer. And to clear up any confusion CG does not offer out of district tuition. Also the IHSAA isn't dumb or full of Good 'Ol Boys who look the other when an issue is brought up they crack down unless they can't find something and since the didn't crack down it means that Allie is legit.

How do you know that Allie is a nice sweet teenager?

Why would coaches from places like Carmel or CG need to cheat, there schools have so much money and resources that they already have an unfair advantage?

Of course it is the best they have a lot of money. It seems unfair to me that schools in Indiana get more money because of where they are located. Every child should get the same opportunity.
