Loved One's Suspect Foul Play In The Drowning Of 15 Year Old Jobe Hart
Thursday August 2nd 20012 Habersham county teen Jobe Hart went swimming with "Brice Crawford" and two unidentified minors. Little did he know he was not going to return home to his family. Brice and the two unidentified minors claim that Jobe was swimming toward the dam. They stated that he got tired and turned around to swim back. Then stated that he went under water. They claim that they thought he was playing around so they did'nt help him. When he never came back up they proceeded to call 911. The diving team found him a few hour's later floating in about seven feet of water. The next morning I started to quistion the story about how Jobe Hart's death. Life long friend of Jobes "Andrew Powers " statedJobe did'nt know how to swim. Everybody know's that." Which raised the quistion of why somebody that cant swim would be swimming toward a dam in water that ranges anywhere from fourty to a hundred feet deep. The location they we're swimming at is for water storage. Like the biggiest one on this side of Missippi. Tbat made me wonder why they chose that location. Mabe because its secluded and nobody would be around? The witnesses stated he was about twelve feet from the bank when he went under. Why did'nt they try to help ? One or two of them could have went after him while the other called 911. It is possible that the current from the water going through the dam pulled him under but then he still would have been there when the diving team arrived. If somehow he was let loose from the suction his lungs would have been filled with water. The case being he wouldnt have been found floating ontop of the water. Mr. Crawfor has been contacted several time's but refuses to comment about this incident... Im no exspert but this case dont fit together. I believe it should be looked at more closely. Mabe he was drowned. Mabe he was drugged so he would drowned. Mabe it was a accident but the adult present provided a drug or alcohol that resulted in Jobe's death and just wanted to cover his tracks by changing little detail's. Who know's... All I know is that me and several other friend's of Jobes dont fully believe the story that was given at the scene.

My heart goes out to Josh, his family, Jobe's Mother and all who loved him.
I have not seen Jobe since he was a small child but I know if he was anything like Josh everybody that meet him loved him and felt at ease because of the charismatic attitude he shared with his father or the humor and ease his mother put off from only a few time's meeting her- God gained a beautiful angel.

I will keep all in my prayer's

Actually, I've heard that Mr. Crawford had something to do with it as well. Along with one other name. I do not personally know you, But I hope if you did commit this crime, you are held accountable.

I have known this family my whole life. Jobe could swim but wasn't what I would call a strong swimmer. I was standing next to family when they recovered jobe. It was explained to us that he was found in weeds or underwater brush. The other 2 boys were to far away to really help. Also all tox screens came back neg. this was a sad day. I was there when jobe was born and I was there waiting with his father and grandmother when he was recovered. In fact I'm the one who called his father.

First of all one has to understand that hindsight is 20/20. It's easy to say, after the fact, what needed to be done..and it's a natural thought process when something that is hard to process is hard to make sense. Second you spoke of the young men that were with Jobe and what they should have done. They were his age, and you can't expect people to react like an adult would. A 15 year olds brain is not as developed as an adult. And one HUGE thing about the other boys is making a claim that they might have been involved in a drowning. That is very irresponsible to say, and could start rumors that cold ruin their lives when there is absolutely no proof that they did anything. You also say that Jobe didn't know how to swim. Well, to me that is odd that he would go with friends to a place where you go swimming. And it was my understanding that Jobe was dressed to swim. In other words, You say Jobe couldn't swim, but he went there to do what? Sit and watch? Maybe he was a beginner and just went out too far. You also wanted to know why they didn't try to help him when he was in trouble. First, they stated they felt he was just playing around. That would be a typical response and thought from someone of their age. Second an article I read stated that the boys were on the other side of the lake and wouldn't have been able to get to him in time.
The whole point I'm trying to make here is that conspiracy theories are dangerous...they just drive the family insane, and I'm sure his friends were traumatized by this. Drownings can't happen very fast, sometimes in less than a minute. It's a sad loss. but i think it was nothing more than an accident.

This is an irresponsible comment. And if you're going to accuse someone of such a vile crime. You need to have evidence. The problem with people in this area is their constant gossip and rumor mongering. Just like you started out your sentence . "I''ve heard". If you know of a crime then present your evidence to the police. If you don't, then keep your mouth shut before you ruin a young mans life with nasty rumors. And you can be sued for writing so irresponsible ..it's called libel.

Then that one guy was there posting but it was 3 years old so who knows maybe that's why they were not able to make this happen to know what the problem was that it becomes progressively worse than the intended for the first place and time again for the next one by that free pizza shop on yoga mats
