the I.A.M. is a joke. Boysen Anderson and Mark Hammond who are officials with the union who represent the drivers are hurting the drivers.I am a driver. We are prepared to take a pay cut in order to keep our jobs.Boysen Anderson has said he will not agree to that.He will not lose his job.We will.Something needs to be done to help the drivers.Boysen Anderson and Mark Hammond need to be gone.We can better represent ourselves. We want to continue to work for auto truck and for Navistar.

I go by that truck plant all the time. It won't surprise me in 10 years tops that place is shut down. Much like the Moraine GM plant (near Dayton).

my questions are: Did Navistar send out a notice of bid to other trucking firms?
If they did did they give you guys a timeline when you'd know if y'all have jobs. or are in you "limbo" indefinately

First off the story is about Navistar not Auto Truck Transport and Boysen Anderson and Mark Hammond have nothing to do with losing that work! But if we want to talk about why the work was lost, my personal opinion is a bad relationship between ATT and Navistar (International)and a handful of LAZY workers at ATT that had the best jobs in all of Springfield and the industry and did nothing but complain... Boysen Anderson made these jobs the best in the industry and you lazy, complaining babies ruined it. So take your medicine or as they say you made your bed, so lye in it... Maybe Iron Tiger Logistics will learn from these mistakes.

Take a pay cut? Adjusted for inflation and productivity gains, new truck driveaway pay has been loosing ground ever since Troha created ATT and brought in the IAM to misrepresent the workers. Iron Tiger is just another JHT creation to undercut ATT's business just as ATT was created to undercut Active's business.

Most interesting are the 'union haters' circulating who use similar 'stories' and function little better than 'new hires'. Some even claim to be 'red circle drivers' and all seem to know each other. I first noticed and exposed these people during the union selection election back in 2005.

Get your facts straight partner. JHT and ATT have nothing to do with Iron Tiger besides lost business. Iron Tiger is run by Truckmovers a driveaway company in KC.

The worst kept secret is JHT entered into an 'operating agreement' with Truck Movers upon coming out of bankruptcy in 2008 - a smoke filled term for 'buying controlling interest'. Close Active shops one day, reopen them as ATT shops the next day. A few years later; JHT closes select ATT shops one day and reopens them the next day as Iron Tiger shops the next day. Don't complain about the complete lack of 'leadership' from the IAM's 'automotive division' as that would be 'racist'.

ATT (Auto Truck Transport) is to return to hauling Internationals once more, a former IAM union rep., (wishing to stay anonymous) confirmed 7/16/2010 that due to Iron Tiger’s lack of professionalism during Iron Tiger’s probation period International has elected to resume their five year relationship with ATT.

You are Kettle calling the Pot Black. During your tenure as union rep. in Springfield did you not have a family member that was a controlling manager with Auto Truck? More times than not you would lie down and support the company (explicitly Robin) and let the driver take in the shorts. Get off your soap box you hypocrite.

Organize under IBT contract NOT IAM-aerospace machinists! Aerospace machinists union-go work for Boeing building planes not transporting trucks for that scumbum-Troha founder of Auto Truck Transport. The company transports trucks made in Mexico, out of Laredo,TX. Kinda goes against supporting UAW fellow union plants in USA. Transport trucks made in China next-NICE d-bag move. Now organize organize that!

Funny how all of you complain about Troha or the IAM being great. Boysen is a crook. Get all of the ATT drivers together and see if they would have a majority pick him. As far as the IBT, maybe you should ask for less $$$ and other companies would not want to go to a scab union.

I have a question for all you professional drivers concerning a workers' comp matter? Have you or anybody you know have a workers' comp claim denied by Iron Tigers (IT)? Or have you (or anybody you know) ever been fired regarding a workers' comp injury while working for IT?
