Just do the planning and don't obligate us for anything until the team is actually sold. That would be just like city council to buy several buildings for more than they are worth and then to have the team go somewhere else. EVERYBODY JUST SLOW DOWN!!

The embarrasment to the City is in the City Council. They ae operating like dictators.

The best idea anyone has had is what the Judge said, "Lets do the arithmetic". The buildings that they want to buy are over priced as shown in their own appraisal. The City Hall is fine no need to rip it down especially now that the other shoe has dropped and we see that the rea plan is to build a new City Hall. So we take buildings off the Tax roles, demolishe a 2 perfectly good buildings one of which is a great place for kids, and build a sradium for a team that no one wants.

Yep the embassasment is the City Council right now. It oud be a redempton if they killed this fiasco.

I nearly crapped my drawers when I read this today. Finally someone with some common sense is speaking up! Maybe this boondoggle will not go anywhere after all - we can only hope.

I say you do whatever it takes to stop this thing and you'll have my vote for life if you do. Even if you have to toss the mayor's salad, I say go for it because this things needs to be stopped at all costs.
