I am confused as to why it was necessary to print this article? Is it because this athlete has a chance of making something of himself? If the police did show up at a under age drinking party as you have written why were none of the under age drinkers arrested? Why weren't the parents who hosted the party arrested? And if this girl didn't want the police involved as you have also written why did the police take her statement the next day? Perhaps she had too much to drink at the party. This whole thing sounds like High School shit. What a shame the that the Tribune would resort to destroying a GREAT High School athlete.

WOW, this must be one tough girl to get beat up by 2 guys, a football player, and pratl whos like 6'8 250lbs, thrown to the ground and punched repeatedly, and only have scratches. Sounds to me like she was drunk and made up a sob story to get out of trouble...something dosent add up here

Cucio and his staff lost their credibility a long time ago! If Pratl was not involved the rest of the bunch would have all been kicked to the curb!

Any guy that would beat up girls is a fucking scumbag, and it does not matter how good he is at any sport; he is trashy. It takes a very strong person to stand up against injustice and fight for their rights. I've heard this is not the only account of violence and criminal activity for both Pratl and Hennigan. Hopefully they can learn a lesson and the judge can look past his "basketball star status" and look at the cold hard evidence.

Actually, if you read the article it says that she had bruises down her back and cuts and abrasions on her arms. I think that if she has photographic evidence, an assault actually took place. Get your facts straight before you comment.

Only the lowest scum of the earth would ever touch a women. This kid being that big could have seriously hurt the poor girl, he will definitely fit in Charleston with all the other hillbilly women beaters.

Cucio has never had any credibility if your a thinking person. He lets programs like swiming, track, xcross go into the crapper and Richards gets embarassed by the other conference schools, while him and Styler pump up the football and basketball teams. Once Cucio goes Styler is next. They run a crooked program.

The only reason got away with it is because he's an "all star athlete." I was there and my friend was the one who was beat. This kid deserves to be in jail. He probably learned it from his parents.
