Sorry folks. The voice of reason has arrived. The Magic will lose this series in either 5 or 6 games.

Detroit is their kryptonite. Perhaps in another year or two they will be there. But right now I am afraid this will be like taking candy from a baby for the Pistons.

The Magic will not reach 100 points in any of the games in this series. Perhaps they might in just one game. And if they do it will be no more than 103. Also Dwight will not have any 20-20 games in this series.

Detroit will win this series with their better free throw shooting, and their ability to make the plays in a close game. The Magic will have too many turnovers, and their free throw shooting will suffer because of Howard.

Well I say "Bring the Pistons", I'm sure the Magic wants them, they want revenge, and believe me, when the Magic wants to play, nobody can stop them. The Pistons are not the same team, yes they are a great team, but, by watching their games I think they are getting old. The sixers are so disorganized and they are giving a hell of a figh to the Pistons. That's why I say again, "BRING THE PISTONS".

HMMMMMMM!!! Two key matchups. Billups and Nelson, Hedo and Prince. If we can play even or get and edge we will win this series 4-2. If Billups dominates Nelson like last year we could win 2 games. Detroit is one of the few teams in the NBA whose front line can matchup with our front line. We do get some advantage but not as much as we normally do. If they dominate our guards its a different story. From last year we can look at these pluses.
1. Hedo is much better than Hedo of last year.
2. Bogans and Evans are a major upgrade over Hill. Hamilton will not be able to score at will like he did last year. He is going to have to work very hard to get his points.
3.Rashard is a major upgrade over Darko.
4. Howard is so much better, matured, and focused. He now knows much better what to expect. Getting to the playoffs last year was so important for this year.
5. Nelson has shown he is up for the playoffs but physics must be respected. Billups probably can still bully him. Dooling and Carlos will be key in stopping Billups. If Billups has slowed this will truly work to our benefit.
6. We have much better coaching than last year. The fact that SVG played Gortat because he was quicker shows he knows what he is doing match up wise.
7. Months ago I didn't think the Magic could take Detroit. I now think it is possible. We need to get one of two in Detroit and this could be an exciting series.
8. If we take both in Detroit, we know two things: This Detroit team is done and we are NBA caliber Championship team. We would have grown up very quickly in two series.
9. If we lose to Detroit, ITS BEEN A GREAT YEAR !!!!!!!!!!

Passes down to Dwight into the low post have to be high (above the shoulder)and crisp.

When the passes are low, the pistons get a chance at the ball.

Defense - turnovers - transition pts.

Jameer has to come up big defensively against taller Piston guard (Billups & Hamilton)

I know Nelson will always be a scorer, no doubt about it, even do' he looses focus lots of times, but, what the Magic will really need of him agains the Pistons will be defense. And defending a guy like Billups??? Uhmmmmm. I think Nelson will be in trouble.
At the shooting guard pos I think SVG will have to use Dooling to defend Hamilton, he is been hot, and can't alloud that to happend. Evans its been getting better, but neighter him or Bogans can defend Hamilton in my opinion.
