I don't know if he's blowing smoke up our bottoms in Columbus with the stuff about Rick Nash, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he's sincere. If he is sincere, it just furthers my resolve that we should pick this kid. He's got the skill, he's a true right winger with a right-handed shot. The only other true top 6 RW we have is Voracek.

I'm not worried about his injury past. Clearly it was a one time thing that wouldn't have bothered him if he didn't try to rush back to the ice. Reminds me of Chimera two seasons ago trying to rush back from a similar injury and Commie this past season trying to do too much too soon and just hurting himself and the team more.

We also a glut of up and coming d-men in the next two seasons with Moore, Savard, Delisle, Ruth, Golobluf (sp?) It would make more sense to take a premiere talent RW since they can be just as rare as premiere centermen. Since the only clear cut premiere center will be gone in the top two picks, it doesn't make much sense to pick a lesser center at number 4.

Just imagine having Nash, Vermette, and Jake playing on a line and Juice or Filatov, Brassard, and Connolly on the second line next season.

i like cam fowler. but if cbus can trade one of their forwards for a deman i say take conlly but if he is taken with no trades it would be a log jam of forwards ( nash voracek Vermette huice Umberger Brassard Filatov)_

It wouldn't be a log jam of forwards if we picked Connolly because we lack talent on the right side. Our current roster has listed as RW: Nash (who is really a LW), Voracek, Boll, Dorsett, Clark, and Mike Blunden. Excluding Nash, of that group only Voracek is worthy of playing on the top two lines. Blunden should be in the minors and Dorsett and Boll are redundant.

While I agree Fowler would be a good pick, right now we have a lot of organizational depth at defense that should pan out over the next two season. While we do need a true number one center, we have two servicable centers in Vermette and Brassard. What we lack most organizationally is depth on the right wing. That's why I argue for the Connolly pick.

Hip pain and hip injuries can be extremely frustrating. They cause pain with your sports activities, but also with daily activities like walking and sitting. And sometimes if severe might require you to undergo hip replacement surgery. Although the operationís success rate is high, complications are inevitable especially with those hip implant devices being used. For more information, visit
