Here's a post. While I did not make it to the game, I watched it on TV. We outplayed Tech and should have won the game. Poor coaching cost us the win. Not only my analysis (arm chair quarterback) but that of the commentators who really know the game. Poor coaching and poor time management cost us.

We need a new coach and a new direction for this program.

There is clearly no logical reason for what we saw today with London - none... London gave the team no chance to win this game. UVA would have been down by 3 with a minute left, meaning anything could have happened - 1 play and uva could have won ( a missed tackle a slipped db, hell kickoffs do get returned for tds on occasion ) but London did not give any of that a chance to happen.. Then to follow it up a rambling crazy answer in post game interview... London has always made strange descions at times but this was attrocious. London clearly does not fully understand how to coach at this level.. Yes I know he is a big time recruiter but how long will that continue with loosing results and the team clearly looking like a poorly coached team and the coach himself looking like he is in way over his head ? The recruiting WILL start to drop off withthin a year or so......

Ha Ha, I bet George Welsh is getting a good laugh out of the past ten years. Should have let him leave on his terms, and name his successor. UVa completely disrespected him, and now they are reaping the results. Maybe if you combine Groh's football knowledge, and London's cheerleading. You might have a decent coach. LMAO at you CL.

Can not disagree with that.... The only solid hire among the money sports seems to be Bennett and the jury is still out on him.

Was at the game today.. Painful clock "mis" management and that fake FG was absolutely horrific. We would have been up by 10 with momentum.. Coaching blew the game today.. Time to make wholesale changes

Head coach Mike London says, "The streak is what it is, and people will continue to talk about it, but that gap has been narrowed, in recruiting. They've won on the field, but the gap is closing."

All that above don't amount to a hill of beans if the scoreboard says you lost.

Most pathetic coaching I've seen all year from London. Horrific decision making...My heart goes out to the players because they had every chance of winning taken away from them today by London.

I was at Lane Field yesterday and it was NOT packed. Many empty seats, you guys dont like bad football either. And UVa's slide into mediocirty started last years with those last two games against Tech and Auburn.

The gap is getting closer not because UVa is getting better but because Tech had a terrible season. I am a realist in the midst of coach London's optimism. This year was an anomaly for Tech and we had a more typical UVa season.

The slide to mediocrity started long before that.

Maybe it was those empty seats booing the quarterback when things weren't going great. Couldn't have been the always loyal Tech fans.

The AD has a pretty decent overall Ncaa sports record, frequent Ncaa titles in Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis, wrestling, etc. But when it comes to football and bball, he is guaranteed to hire the wrong coach. I love London but he can't coach on this level. Bennett is average at best and his recruiting shows it. UVA needs to stop trying to keep up with Va Tech and get into the mind state of the Notre Dame's and Ohio State's of the college fb world, and the Duke and Kentucky's of the bball world. Anything else is plain out unproductive as we have seen over the years. When you can say George Welsh accomplished more than any coach in school history, you have serious issues.

London is out of his league !!! Next time hire the beer truck driver (and not a cop). We had the best ACC schedule to do well and we blew it. Who will come to a school that is bad and the coaches are terrible. Bennett will never win in the ACC when recuits are told don't shoot...we only play defense.

The jury came in long ago. Bennett is a bust too. They are facing the worst season in decades. The only good moves Littlepage has made are keeping Brian O'Conner in house and snagging a rising star for the women's bb program.
