I know we hear alot of bad talk about Thome, but is anyone else at least mildly impressed that he has been able to get his average up to .253 after such a bad start? Lets hope the offense can have alot of games like this the second half.

and yes I'm impressed that Thome & Swisher have both risen from the Mendoza line, now if Paulie can hit over .230 i'd be exstatic!!!

IF the Sox make the playoffs, and if Konerko never comes out of his slump, Ozzie and Kenny need to give serious thought to leaving Konerko off the post-season roster. With all due affection and respect for his past accomplishments, they are winning IN SPITE of him.
