"We know that if we get everything out of everybody, we're competitive," said Comrie. Wow. Another "competitive" season. It's unbelievable Snow gave $4 million to this guy -- the same amount Naslund is making, whom Snow made no effort to sign. Ridiculous.

Tell me you're not serious? You seriously wanted us to sign Naslund? Stop sniffing the glue buddy Naslund is well past his prime and would be nothing but a failure here as was Satan, Bertuzzi, Connolly, etc. GO cheer on the Rags if Nassy means so much to you!

Satan was useless- They weren't patient enough with Connolly and Bertuzzi- The list goes on- McCabe, Redden, Berard the first time- Luongo in net. What about Chara...another guy who's tough to play against- Naslund will probably have a good year with NY. I had no idea Comrie's hip was a bad as it was.
Healthy hips are critical to any athlete...especially hockey players-
Hope he shows up this season-

Not any teams were gonna shell out the $$$$$$ for a naslund & redden, Not at their price & Better days far behing them - Both have Looooong mileage on their tires/bodies & If their teams van/ott felt they'd help them to the SC, they'd sill be there...

Isles ARE'NT signing guys to that money yet, When they Do & They will, it Won't be for declining players wjo ARE Anchors on the salary & Will just kill their future cap...

It Kills Us Isles fans but 2 Years & They will sign Some Top FA's to go with their Young future talent - Till then, I'd Hope the CRIMINALS that run nassau get busted & a New arena is approved, that would speed this teams competitiveness up 75%+ with FA's & Money/Player draws....

The Islanders should re-sign Yashin. He would be the best player on the team.

Redden was def overpaid but Naslund got market value... 4 mil a year for a guy who will score around 25-30 goals... thats what they cost these days... amazingly.

On matters regarding hip replacements, recently, various lawsuits have been instituted by law firms around the globe against DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. on behalf of their clients who have become the victims of hip replacement surgeries. DePuy is a subsidiary company of Johnson and Johnson who issued a worldwide recall of their hip replacement products. Legal experts report that numerous patients filed lawsuits against Johnson and Johnson. They were the victims of DePuy hip implants failures such as loosening, fractures, and displacements. See http://www.hiprecalllaw.com/updates/depuy-hip... for a more comprehensive discussion.
