Browns CB Bodden arrested at Cleveland airport -

Browns cornerback Leigh Bodden was arrested Wednesday after driving backward and the wrong way outside Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and refusing to comply with police orders.

Kinda makes you wonder if there's something in the water in Ohio. Maybe Cleveland decided that since they couldn't compete with the Bengals on the field, they'd try to do it in the arrest column. Then again...maybe not.

I'm sure the whole situation was blown out of proportion. I have been through that airport many times and the Officers that watch that area are not the most friendly. I'm, sure because he was a Black male driving a nice car they went overboard prob figuring he was a professional Athlete. If it was me, a 30 yr old White male, I would have been ticketed and that would have been the end of it... I don't think that fact that they tried to arrest him for a minor traffic violation was justified.

this was TOTAL BS. he was there to pick up his FAMILY... and has been harrassed by this particular cop before. and he was targeted. he was asked to circle around while other cars were not... there ARE witnesses to that. so he backed up to pull closer and park like the other cars that were allowed to sit there. he even explained he was waiting for his family and the officer ESCORTED HIM to get them... when the officer didn't see them right away he told him he was lying and asked for his liscence... which was in the car... this officer was TOTALLY out of line and used HIS power to blow this "situation" out of proportion.
