If the Sox are able to go 46- 29 the rest of the way, they will only lose the division by 2 games if Detroit keeps its current pace.

One more loss in the dome and the Sox are sellers.

At least the Cubs also lost, that is the only team Sox fans care about. I wonder how many prospects the Sox are going to get for Dye, Buerhle, and Jenks, they gone. Twins rule and the real baseball Sox are Red and in the great city of Boston.

This sure looks like that 97 win team you were talking about. I saw that your "top of rotation starter" Marquez has dropped his ERA to 8.7, nice call.

Why even show up to these games? Oswaldo just can't win up there and he knows it.....anyone out there know the Sox's record at the HHH since 2004? Sooo glad they are building an outdoor stadium.

Poor Jimmy is getting all upset. I'm sorry your life is what it is, it's not your fault, it really isn't. Who would have ever guessed that writing about grade school girls sports wouldn't be a lucrative career choice. I'll bet some of the Countries greatest minds choose to write about little kids games and were completely blindsided too.
It's really not your fault it ended up like this Jimmy.
Keep posting, you're always fun to laugh at. I have to run now, I have to choose what color I'm having the guest house painted tomorrow.

Hey Jimmy, is little Becky going to get out of being grounded before the big game next week? I hope her Mom is able to get her to the orthodontist before then and forget about the punishment.
Let's just hope her daddy can paint a few guest homes so she can eat.

What another genius move Oswaldo made by altering his pitching rotation so he could pitch Richard in a very winnable game against the pathetic Indians in order to have Danks face and beat the Twinkies. Oh wait, they didn't beat the Twinkies. They scored 8 runs against Cleveland and lost that game too because that joke of a pitcher, Richard, blows. I guess in Oswaldo's mind a win against Minnesota counts more than a win against Cleveland. I didn't know that the number of wins didn't matter in a divisional race. According to Oswaldo, it's not how many you win, it's who you beat, I guess. Cleveland was set up to be swept and Oswaldo blew that opportunity by pitching Richard on 3-days rest. Good managers play them one game at a time and don't worry about the next series. The Twinkees must have Oswaldo psyched out. If the Sox lose the division title by one game, you can all point to the Cleveland game they lost this week. I am pretty sure Danks would have beaten Cleveland if the the Sox scored 8 runs for him. 10 runs wouldn't have been enough for Richard.

Also, great in game move by Oswaldo tonight not walking Mauer after getting ahead in the count against Thornton. Mauer was looking fast ball, got it, ball game. I guess Oswaldo didn't realize that the next hitter, Morneau, was 3 - 18 lifetime against Thornton. Steve Stone and Hawk knew it. Perhaps Oswaldo was too busy munching on his sunflower seeds and joking with Joey Cora to pay attention to stats and scouting reports.

You know, the more I watch the Sox, I think they would be a pretty good team if they had a manager with a brain. Give this team to Ron Gardenhire and they would be 5 games in first place right now. Also, maybe some free agents would want to come and play for the Sox if Oswaldo wasn't the manager.

That, of course, would depend if Kenny Williams would stop blaming the fans and their lack of support for not being able to spend money on free agents or make quality trades. Williams had a horrible off-season by only adding garbage to an already flawed roster and he can't understand why the fans are not lining up to buy tickets and drink his Kool Ade. Like Duh!!!!!! World Series Championship or not, I think Oswaldo and Kenny should be the co-stars in the next "Dumb & Dumber" movie.

After all of the games against the Twins, you would think those two would have learned something by now. The Twins are almost the exact opposite of the Sox.

How is it that a real baseball team, like the Yankees, on which my uncle won a WS ring, can sweep the twinkies up there along with most of the rest of the league and these jokers couldn't win a game in a dome to save their frickin lives. Pathetic.

I think the only option for dome games is to send Bobby Jenks to Charlotte; send Ozzie off to La La land and hope for the best.

I swear every time I've watched the Sox up there some combination of Ozzie's bad decisions and Bobby Jenks deer in dome light blows a lead and loses (granted there was no lead tonight). But why on god's green earth would you put fatboy in the game in that dome???

Why Ozzie, why??? Usted sucks...

Jerry you should give thanks every night your buddy selig made Houston keep their dome open for the 05 WS.

This is beyond a joke.

Jerry, fire kenny krause and spend you money on some therapists for this pathetic bunch who clearly zone out into another dimension when they have to play indoors, or at Yankee Stadium, or at Fenway, or at the A's or...good grief. You can't win anything if you lose every fricken game you play in a dome. I swear I've seen you win in Tampa, although not when it matters, but my god already...pull your collective heads out of your a s s e s boys(except for AJ, who apparently still remembers how to play up there...too bad the losers behind hime and pitching to him can't get it together.

and to the previous poster can't agree more. Just be glad you don't have season tickets because you can't even give them away this year.

I'm still ticked I paid $38 to watch Clayton Richard blow up and spot Cleveland 8 on thursday.$38 for this??? That pretty boy better be doing more than just pitching for that price.

Capricorn

The Moon enters your fourth house of home and family today, urging you to spend more time with your loved ones. There may be trouble brewing at home, so head it off at the pass before tomorrow, when conditions are right for a blowout. Take the time to really listen to what the people you live with are saying. If you live by yourself, you might want to water your plants and talk to them for a while; they miss you.
