Great effort on both sides of the ball, and also give credit to the coaches for getting our boys prepped for this game...

I seriously question a lot of "fans" on here. We stop a hole in the Lions AT Happy Valley, no turnovers, great execution, yet there is still complaining by fat absurd posters that haven't played football since High School (maybe even Middle School). Seems like if we don't win 150-0 with 900 yards passing our fans won't be happy.

To all of the Terrelle haters that have been on these boards for the last few weeks pissing and moaning like a bunch of spoiled little brats can officially STFU now. It was thoroughly embarrassing to watch you turn on your own team after a couple of bad games. I would love to say that you've learned from this betrayal but I know I'm talking to brick walls. To us true and loyal Buckeye fans that have been behind the team the entire year: HOW ABOUT THOSE BUCKEYES!!!! Fantastic game - you went in to an incredibly hostile environment and KICK THEIR BUTTS!!! NICELY DONE GUYS... NICELY DONE!!!

TERRELLE - Absolutely brilliant!!!!

The team and the coaches seemed to be focused and very determined. If they continue to play like this they certainly will go to the Rose Bowl. I would like to see USC win out and Arizona and Oregon lose the next two. How about a rematch. Great. WJM New Albany

Just got back from the game. Calling Pryors effort as flawless is a bit generous - he is scarier to watch in person than on TV. The defense, though, WOW. Really impressive.

I couldnt be more proud of Terrelle's will to overcome adversity, I see all the haters decided to stay off-line tonight cause there isn't much to cry about...just another chapter in the storied career of the greatest pure athlete in the history of PA high school football and future National title winner..give him time and its gonna be lights out. Great game Terrelle, you made J-town proud today!!!!!

By the way, Im a huge Ohio State fan. The only reason I'm suggesting this is because it would be good for the program. Everyone gets so defensive if someone tries to discuss the shortcomings of the team or if change is suggested. It's disappointing.
So, fine then. Let's stick with the vest and let somebody else get the golden goose, because the vest is pretty good and we're afraid to let him get away.
Does everyone think he'll be here for another 20 years or something?
Jim Tressel is the best coach we have had since Woody. Now if Tres would have put up a good battle with MIGHTY UConn would you say the same thing? No...you would call for his head.. OSU needs a new O-line coach and O-coordinator which is the same person and everything will be fine in Buckeye land. Those kids played with heart today and thats what won the game and Brian Kelly wouldnt change that. Get real.

Ok-ok I have basted the 0 line the past few weeks but today they deserve the game ball and some high praise. I still have some concerns about some of the conservative offensive play calling. The D was great today especially the secondary. Pryor was not great throwing the ball but did some wonderful things with his legs in key situations. The Buckeyes have worked their way back into a position to win the Big Ten. I hope the coaching staff keeps turning up the heat during practice. No more Purdue let downs, they have worked to hard to let it get away again.
I am with you...BUT..the consistency is never going to be there with the O-line. It has been this way for 9 years. Lets not forget all the big games that the line plain stunk up the field. We cant play good for 4 games and stink the other 8. Bollman has to go or you are in the same boat again next year...trust me. Look at the GREAT year we had when we played Florida.....Same heartache every year until we get rid of Tressel's bud.

Nice job buckeyes. You guys are good. I wish our defense was that good. I don't see our coach being around after next year. We seem to have a good offense, but that isn't going to win championships. Good luck against the hawks next week and don't beat us up too badly in those throwback unis on nov. 21.

Hey there is a more conservative coach than tressel in the big ten. His name is joe paterno. Psu has scored only 20 pts against us in the last two games. Tressel is now 6 and 3 against psu.

A gorgeous day for football here in the Keystone State. It was a delight to see nearly error-free action by the Bucks. While the defense was terrific, it did seem as if PSU just gave up. Not at all like a JoePa team.
I do worry about upsets the rest of the way. Unlike this week when he was just thrown into the fire, the rookie QB for Iowa will have a week's solid practice behind him. Turnovers by OSU offense to a skilled (if shaken) Iowa defense could open the door for a nasty surprise. And Michigan is just too tough to figure out. Is RRod completely worthless, or is Michigan just unlucky? In any case, thanks OSU for a nice break from raking leaves.(Nice bit on TV regarding Tressel and the troops overseas. Best wishes to all the veterans out there this Veterans Day week!)

You've got to give Rich-Rod a little time to recruit. The poor guy started with nothing after most of Lloyd's good recruits transferred. Besides, anything can happen in "The Game".....you never know for sure. I never count Michigan out.

TP:Nice, solid game, great foundation to build on. Heyward:You are a fire breathing, lion killing, call your mommy @ss kicker. Get meaner. Oline: Keep punching the guy across from you in the gut, we like it. THAT, was Buckeye football ladies and gentlemen.

We "should" win out (Iowa & Mich.) and earn the Big 10 Title again. If we keep our heads in the game we are playing & not look ahead we can do this. The "D" is playing wonderfully, same for Special Teams; the "O" is getting better each week. I am so hopeful and optomistic that the guys can do this. Jim T. had a great game today - two more wins and he gets the trophy - outright.
Go get'em Bucks.

I must say that this game outcome really suprrised me... I expected the usual big game let down in some way or another. A really good win though. Good for Tressel, good for Terrelle, good for the Buckeyes... I hope they can win out and go to the Rose Bowl for a special place in team history.

One more thought about today's great win. Storyline: Penn State fans/publishers decided to develop a T-shirt that mocked OSU's T. Pryor after last year's lost to Penn State. The T-shirt should a crier theme with Pryor reaching for a tissue. Very poor judgement from the PSU fans and publishing executives. So poor that the Tee was "pulled" as it was not the "character" that Penn State wanted to be associated with. I too saw the tee as demeaning and unsportsmanlike. A lingering thought is if the tee were worn to the game today how long would have they worn them? If Ohio State were to respond, which the won't the RSVP tee could have simply read "Who's Crying Now?". Pryor took all this hype with a grain of salt showing maturity and focus.

I am glad the Tee was pulled as it would have been an embarrassment to a wonderful man and great coach - Joe Paterno.

Well, what do you know? Tressel finally opens it up in the third and early in the fourth quarters and we pull away! TP did not make any mentally poor decisions, stayed within the game, and the awesome D did their thing.
I admit, I thought that we would lose this game due to turnovers and offensive stagnation. Im glad I was wrong!!
Just what took so long????

GO BUCKS!!

PS...Is it just me or does Jordan Hall look like the best running back we have, every time he gets a chance to play?

Lets now hope that this isn't the year the "big three" cancel each other out. Where PSU beats UM, OSU beats PSU, and ... Get the drift?

Always beware THE GAME

A fantastic team win and never more prowd of our Buckeyes! I'm not sure we are in the elite 3 or 4 yet but today we would have made it a game with anyone. The coaches had the team well prepared and the team played with a lot of intensity, heart and pride.
