It is sad when great players tarnish their reputation at the end of their career...... sigh.

I'm no fan of the Queens, but I do feel Favre is a "Turd" for the way he has jacked their organization over for the last two years. They are better off without him. They would be lucky if Childress went away also.

And here we go again...

I bet $1,000 he will be back. Any takers?

Okay, we're supposed to believe this AGAIN? Wasn't it last year just about this time that Favre told the Vikings he wasn't playing. Not that I don't want to see him come back because of the sorry backup QBs we have, but this is getting quite old.

My guess is Childress will give Favre one more call in a week or two. Favre will be out on his tractor when Chilly calls. Chilly will beg him to come back, and Favre will agree to it.

Regardless, if nothing else comes from this, someone in the Viking organization might finally realize that the QB position needs to be addressed for the long term.

Viking fans have to believe that either Favre a.) is sincere that the healing process is not happening and at 41 y.o. may never happen or b.) is severely psychologically troubled.

It's one thing to hold out with a wink and a nod but this transcends into abuse toward his team, teammates and fans.

Another year of the TJ experiment. There have been many of us who have been asking when is this team going to go out and find a franchise QB. It has been YEARS! The ineptitude is mind boggling! I can't wait to see the list of has-been, journeymen, career back-ups they start throwing around to bring in to give TJ another year to develop.

Don't believe it until you see it, Vikes fans. Nothing Brett does would be a surprise at this point, including coming in during week 6 to "save" the season.

Unless they find somebody else, they will finish third or fourth in the division.

Why do you think the Jets' players were glad to be rid of him? He's a self-centered d-bag.

But... in a week he'll be coming back here, we know he's pretty indecisive!

Retire, unretire. Retire, unretire. Retire...

OK, he's retired. Next he'll unretire. Is there any doubt?

I'm crushed. I have never been so excited for football as I have been since he joined last year. ONE MORE BRETT - COME ON!!! You need to give some payback...
