I believe it--people get looney at the airport. The cops are too power crazy and generally bully people. that in turn makes them do things they normally don't do. People at airports act and think that they can do anything they want for some reaons and their excuse is always--"i'm here to pick up someone."

I'm sorry.... maybe this sounds racist.... but this just seems like a situation of.....
White cop sees black guy pull up to curbside at airport in a 'pimped-out' SUV and decides to give him a hard time and, to quote Eric Cartman, make him "respect his authoritay!" and bully/assert himself on the black guy. Black guy.... pulled up to curb.... knowing it wasn't the right thing to do, but in a hurry and with the intention of running in and out of the airport.... suddenly finds self with a cop 'coming off with an atittude' towards him. Black guy.... immediately picking up the tone of the cop and realizing this guy is being a jerk on purpose.... loses his cool. Black guy blows up.... cops start swarming (cause hey... they didn't sign up for the job to be bored and push paperwork). Cops stick to their story together and pin it all on black guy. Black guy is now stuck between rock and hard place. He knows he committed a minor traffic violation to begin with, but his following over-reaction really landed him in more trouble. Sound feasible? And the crazy part is.... if EITHER had just taken the "high road".... it probably would have never happened. Suppose the cop came into it without an axe to grind.... Bodden probably would have not reacted so poorly. Or.... if Bodden had kept his cool and just realized that snapping on this 'jerk cop' wasn't worth it.... the confrontation would have never happened. Just seems like a situation where a simple attitude problem on both parts escalated. |

Call me crazy.....but wouldn't you expect there to be security cameras in front of the Arrival area of the airport? Couldn't they use those to decide if Bodden really did what the cops are saying, instead of making it a 'he-said,''he-said' thing?

I have witnessed how beligerent the police officers are when they "direct traffic" at the airport. They talk to you like you are a moron. I respect the police but they should also respect the citizens.

I think Bodden is a mouthy punk that thinks he is above the law & we all know what his so called brothers are going to say without asking them. I believe he should be suspended from football untill after his trial. He did wrong & he knows he did wrong. He is not a child althou he acts like one.

LANCE BRIGGS??? Briggs wrecks his car, after leaving a bar?? Leaves the scene?? Calls the police and reports his car stolen?? Nobody seems to talk to him about it until he sobers up??? Mr. Comish, walk it like you talk it!! Mr. Bodden, the police are in charge, anywhere, anytime. Rude or impolite, the police are always right. Do as they say, and have a nice day!!
