Thank you Lori for an excellent response to a poorly thought out attack by Ms. Bell. It would have been nice if she had discussed her concerns with someone and attempted to find out what was going on before attacking the school and trying to take away from the hard work those girls put in this year. It is her type of shoot first, ask questions later, attitude that causes much of the unnecessary controversy in today's society.

Ms. Bryan, when you're wrong, you need to admit you're wrong. That was extremely bad taste.

It's intentional double entendre. I'm not blind.

Thank you, Chrome. I could say so much more, but I will restrain myself. Margo was correct; it is connotationally sexual in nature to say "We will drill you.", no if's , and's or but's about it.As soon as I saw it, I, too, was disturbed by the double entendre, especially in a school setting. Should we write it off to the good old boy network that is alive and well and in charge of the high school and beyond that, our entire school district?

Good Ole Boy network? Really, this are females, the coaches are female, and their families are all wonderful very civic-minded people. You guys and your double entendres. A person can find double entendres in just about everything if they so choose.

To the people that think it was sexual. Does that mean if i wear my jeans and t-shirt and hold a drill i'm trying to be sexy? Come on!!! If you people knew anything about volleyball that is a term in the game. Get a life people!!!

When they start stripping down our juniors and seniors , putting them in thong bikinis and washing cars, THEN COMPLAIN! nothing sexual was intended for this picture. And as a carrollton alumni im ashamed to say i graduated with ms bell, whose uncanny attack was unpresedented and unfounded. we used terms like this all the time when we were in carrollton 99-03 and it was never a problem them. get your head out of the gutter and try fixing things that need fixed, instead of a volleyball jersey you do not wear and never did!
