*chuckle*, it's a normal for thr Raiders, they have a long history of poor choices and bad decisions. This just another.

McKenzie and Allen are horrible at judging QB talent...they have brought in 3 guys so far... Flynn, Wilson, McGloin whom are all backups at best.

Pryor on the other hand, a 6'6 230 lb athletic freak is the guy they know can't be the Oakland Raiders QB of the future.

Every flaw Pryor has can be fixed overtime with more experience and COACHING.

You can work on timing and accuracy with your receivers, you can work on pocket presence with your line, and you can work on reading defenses with film study, all of which I guarantee Pryor would bust his ass doing.

Unfortunately you need coaches that know how to coach and know how to teach and that's the biggest thing missing in Oakland.

The best thing for Pryor would be a trade to Philadelphia not because we know he would thrive in that offense but because Chip Kelly is a damn fine coach and he knows how to teach.

don't know who i'm talking to but this is exactly what i have been saying about terrelle pryor all along. exactly to the "T" ! it's almost amazing (lol). but it's true.i'd almost hate to see him go if they do trade him because he has the potential. and i'd almost hate to see him stay if they do keep him just because of our coaching staff. regardless, if he moves on and he fails out there with another team? then we'll know it was him himself. in oakland he failed already and it's not fair if he stays another season. it's useless! i hope he gets traded just for our sake of draft picks or whatever it is they trade for!

What is worse than Pryor being a failed experiment, is those that want to continue the charade......

I still think Pryor is a better backup than anyone else we have.(number 3 behind McGloin)

But seriously, what do they think they will get for him, being a supplemental draft pick and not really performing well. Just cut him if you dont want him. Trade? Pass the McKenzie bong please.

He is a talent. Pryor suffers from what "they" think a QB should look like, play like, skill set etc. It's a shame. He is so much more than the "robot-QB's" that are out there and that the coaching staff prefers.

First, letting TP walk is smart.Yes he is athletically gifted. But he is a running qb. They get injured much more frequently. TP struggled when asked to be a passer. Second, I hope he gets an opportunity to start elsewhere. He is a stand up guy. But Philly would be bad for him. They have a starter...that's not changing. He should go somewhere he is with an old qb that only will play a season or two and let him learn. Then get his chance. That will give him a chance to work on passing and scanning the field.

Ditto.

Furthermore, I think the Raiders would be willing to keep Pryor and let him compete for #2--and take over if Schaub goes down. It is clear from all reports that Pryor has requested this--not the Raiders. I don't mind seeing him go because I, personally, don't think he can throw worth a crap. I DO think he can run and make plays happen and is a very good backup QB. However, I think he deserves a chance to be that "starter" on another team since it won't be here. If Pryor is not happy in Oakland, this is the best move for both parties.

He should shut up and sit where he is. If leaves, he will be selling bibles with Teblow on street corners for a living within 3-4 years.

Can we review some of the smart moves by the new Era and the QB position? Grinding/ not offering any guaranteed money/Letting Palmer walk = smart move. Trading for Flynn = smart move. Drafting Wilson = smart move.

My two words..."Buys time". A QB that can buy time and let the Defense break down, like he can, that is special and leads to big plays (see Big Ben). Unfortunately, these coaches want their two words "on time". They want QBs that throw on time, from the pocket, per their plan, per their desire, per what they perceive as the ability to control the game. I am not sure Pryor will get another chance. A lot of control freaks these days in the coaching ranks.
