I literally got a new couch 30 mins before the earth quake. I was sitting in it when the earth shook and I fought it was a new vibrating function. Haha

taking a nap and woke up thinking I didn't have the washed going. I just layed very still and listen. The birds wasn't even making a sound. It lasted almost a full min. When it stopped I sat up looking around and saw the belt on my robe hanging on the wall moving a bit. Prospect TN.... I;m a LONG way from the site of it. WOW..

I was also lying down when I felt the couch shaking almost as if a washing machine was on the spin cycle and shaking the floor.

I thought the same thing about the washing machine lol but it was silent. The first thing I noticed was my drink rippling and for a second I wondered if I should sit perfectly still so the T-Rex couldn't see me...

I use to live in Knoxvill. I am amazed that there was a earthquake and I missed it.8(
I have kept up with the Vol football team. When are they going to get rid of Dooley? he seems like a good man but sucks as a coach!
Glad to hear everyone is okay and safe. I'll be seeing my family in a few. Nobody makes good sweet tea where I am currently at.

Thought the same thing - LOL!! My home is about 30 miles from the KY border - fmaily pets started barking and since I live close to our town's tiny airport, even thought there may have been an airplane crash (has happened before). Thankfully no one got hurt and I hope everyone can have "Sweet dreams" without having nightmares about T- Rex attacking LOL!!

Well I work at advance on east end and it was scary. We all were freaked. I knocked my boss off his stool and everyone standing was knocked about an inch up in the air. We felt it about six times and it was less intense and less loud each time. A coworkers husband works for the city and it shook city hall. The city officials are having professionals investigate it. It will take a lil bit (not sure how long) to have an answer. All I know is the guys next door and the people behind felt the exact same thing. Everyone as far as the eye could see people ran outside to look
