<quoted text>The starters did look better. Benson played well and should have a good season and hopefully give the Packers a consistent running game. In the highlights I saw of the Bengals game it looked like the defense was putting pretty good pressure on Dalton. As you and I know the improvement of the defense will not happen overnight. I believe, however, it will get better as the season progresses. Withthe added players Capers should have more options in his defensive play calling. He was a little limited last season. Nice to see Jennings play. Nelson could be in for a big season. Will Finley stay healthy and play to his potential? Driver will be Driver and hopefully, Jones and Cobb will be factors. To me, Benson can be a key factor. If used properly, his threat as an RB can open up the passing game much like Ahman Green a few seasons back. One more question. Is ezg357 really gone? If he is, too bad. Could not agree with him very often but it was kinda fun having him around.
The Packers also rushed for 185 yards, which helped the Packers dominate the time of possession. When Benson gets fully up to speed the offense should be as productive as ever.

The improvement of the defense won't happen over night. However, a goalline stand is encouraging, and the fact that the Packers applied some pressure is a good sign. The Packers have the entire regular season to progress and find the right players for the right packages.

As for ezg, I'm sure EZG is gone, unless he lied again and wants to be constantly reminded that he is a lying scumbag. On the other hand, we may see Monahdav or one of ezg's other personalities. We shouldn't have to worry though. 40for60 claims to be an expert at identifying ezg through his writing. As soon as ezg tries to post again under a new identity 40for60 can finally serve a useful purpose and tell us all. Since 40for60 never talks about football, it will be good for him to have something useful to do.

Do you ever talk about football? That's okay. I'm sure you're useless for that purpose. We'll put you on ezg watch, since you're the expert.

Line who up? Who is sally?

You sniffle and chirp chirp chirp about being so bored with GBPfan but keep responding to him, why? If you are so bored just stop and do something else that is interesting, right?

We can chirp about football instead if you like? How many wins do you think the Vikings will have his year? I think 7 wins would be quite good. 8-8 would be outstanding except they would have a worse draft position. That being said I will go with 6 wins for the Vikes as my guess.

What do you think?

Good one. Do you really think people will forget about ezg and his despicable lie if you try to make me the subject here. Go ahead. Give it a try. Remind everyone of my horrible lie. I bet they have forgotten given all the whining and moaning during your hissy fit. What was it I said that compares to a false claim of being a war hero? Come on. Tell them what a horrible person I am. See what good it does you. Good luck. After you are done, why don't try to act like an adult? Acting like a child won't get you what you want.

Don't bother trying to get him to talk football. He's like ezg. He would rather rant and whine and cry. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends the same for 40for60 as it did for ezg. You know, slinking away with his tail between his legs.

I'm going with 5-8 wins myself. After predicting 5 wins last year, there isn't any other place to go but up.
The packers may surprise a few people this year.

It's all about the O-lines and secondary. Vikings worked to improve these areas. Pack, Bears and Lions all have problems here too and didn't do much to correct them. I don't think moving your best corner to safety is a fix. It is an admission that there was an aging vet that the team didn't find a replacement for. When Rodgers has to run for 2 TDs and throws for zero in a preseason game that kind of sounds like a poor showing by the o line. The Bears O line will get Cutler hurt again and they fall to obscurity. Same for Lions and Stafford.

Vikings will be the surprise of the season and will make the playoffs. Might be as the 6th seed wildcard but that's better than hitting the off season come New Year's day.

First, I ASSUMED that when you bragged about knowing about ezg, that it wasn't limited to knowing he was Monahdav. I gave you too much credit when I thought you were smart enough to know he was lying about his service also. It wasn't a lie iyt was a mistake based upon the fact I underestimated your stupidity.

Second, you are in a tizzy because I exposed ezg. That makes you his friend in my book.

Lastly, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY even if people think I lied, good luck convincing them that those lies are on a par with ezg's lies about being a war hero. If you can convince people of that, I will be very impressed. Tell you what. I'll even help you. I hereby request everybody to believe that I told those lies! ROFLMAO!

Yeah you are probably right about the Vikings, 8-8 would be a good step forward for them.

Do you mean the Packers may surprise a few people by total and complete domination and winning the Super Bowl or surprise people by having an off year and not making the playoffs? The later would be a surprise the first is pretty much a given! lol

Packers will make the playoffs, but like last year, trip over their enormous egos and bow out sheepishly.
