The gophers suck- plain and simple. After reading the article about the LB who wanted to "get physical" with Wisconsin I can only LMAO. The entire defense has cleat marks up the front of their [email protected] uni's from getting run over. The UM program is a joke. Hey, guess what? You guys could easily be 6-0 right now according to your coach. Yeah, maybe if you played South Dakota St...... oh wait, nevermind. Again, LMAO.

Another pathetic performance from a pathetic coach and pathetic team. On top of that, Brewster threw a temper tantrum because the other coach went for 2. You don't like it? Stop them.

How long must we wait for Punky and Maturi to be shown the door? It's embarrassing for the state.

I think Bret Bielema showed how classless he is today. Going for 2 when you're up by 25 is just plain arrogant.

Give them a new taxpayer funded stadium and they don't even have the decency to win one game.

Brewster will probably wet the bed again tonight after he gets drunk and starts dreaming about Brett Bielema going for another 2 point conversion.

Seriously, what kind of girlie man cares about getting a 2 point conversion hung on you when you're already behind by more than 3 touchdowns?

The continuation down the path to a predictable end of a dreadful season with the ultimate goal of both the coach and the AD being shoved out the door.
Worst run Divison I football program in all of College football.
How's that look on your resume for your next job, Maturi?

I know we're making improvements, and that this program is in better shape than it was when we got here. There is not doubt.

I disagree. By that point it wasn't even a game anymore so it appeared to me as though they were having a mid-game practice. If you don't want to see foolishness like this in the future you can start by putting a competitive team on the field. Get off your knees Tim! You're blowing the deason.

The one thing Brewster has done well is getting the all white uniforms but I'm afraid it's going to a few years before the U can hope to beat Sconny. He should have never let Dunbar go. Weber was a good in that system and Gray would be great.

Mr. Brunnicks. Before you leave, please pull the plug on Brewster and Maturi. We cannot wait any longer

Really. As a coach, I want to practice every play I have. So what if they are ahead by 25. That's the perfect time to practice. Not when you need it, but when you want to do it.

As far as Brewster. Might as well let him go for the rest of the season. No sense in poisoning the next coach with this current mess. Let the new guy start fresh next spring.

You can call it a total lack of respect on Bielema's part, but then again, Brewster's own players don't respect him. In case anyone missed it, Wilhite got in Punky's face over on the sidelines after he was whistled for his second straight personal foul and you could see him screaming at his HEAD COACH at the top of his lungs. This isn't the first time something like this has happened this season, and on top of Stoudermire going public on facebook with his dissatisfaction with the program, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Brewhaha has lost the team, mentally and emotionally. Surely Maturi and Bruininks recognize this as well, but they're content to sit with Timmy and play the three monkeys who "see no evil, hear no evil, and say no evil." It really is a disgusting picture.

Hey guys, there is hope on the horizon, Brewster is going to celebrate Haloween early he is going to dress as a COACH. Watching South Carolina upset Alabama makes me wonder if I will be here on earth when the Gophers can do the same thing and bring some respectability back to the U of M.
Mason had no defense, Brewster has no defense or offense, how much longer must we put up with a 2nd rate coach? Brewster will find some light at the end of the tunnel WE BEAT THE SPREAD.

If Maturi has any class , he will resign now, so a new AD can be named and can start searching for a new coach and naming one, before the next recruiting season. If Maturi does not resign, everyone will know it is all about him and he could care less about the school. This football program is one of the lowest funded ones in the Big Ten. If the legislature and the school administration, do not want to change that, the Gophers should drop to Div. 11 status!

Classless??? Hardly. Find and stick to an offensive strategy/philosophy, develop the quarterback position, learn to tackle and block. Quit whining about Bielema.

For those with short memories remember Coach Brew and his doofus son spouting off after the Goph/Badger game two years ago? Remind me again Coach Brew who is classless...while we sit here while enviously looking to the east at a program that figured out how to win consistently twenty years ago.

Really? It was the other 41 points they scored that I would think you, the fand coach and team should have taken issue with.
