The O was vastly improved against Penn State. No turnovers! Wow, what a difference that makes. All teams played very well, but you've got to give it up for that offense - what a tremendous improvement.

I confess that I was feeling very unsure about this game, and didn't expect the Bucks to win. I posted accordingly. I was wrong, and very glad to be proven so. I was impressed by the improvements I saw. The D was awesome, and Heyward's play truly impressive. To see Pryor complete passes, and look more confident and composed was a treat to say the least. I'm a fan whether OSU wins or loses, and fly the flag and wear the gear either way. But it's a lot more fun with a win. I do think there was justification for being worried about this game. Those who had faith (whether well grounded or not) should feel doubly rewarded.

Actually Cynic, I would say you are wrong on most counts. When I commented on your first post, you never mentiioned anything about who should get the game ball. If you are so old that you are becoming forgetfull, go back and read your original post. And, I am sure that I can throw a ball 30 feet. I would bet you your house under the bridge. And since you have no idea who I am, or where I have been, how can you even begin to know how old I am or anything of intelligence. And you must have been drinking while you listened to the game on the radio you found in the alley. Go back to picking up aluminum cans and pushing them around in your stolen Kroger shopping cart. You call me a jerk? Don`t project your sad, unfulfilled life expectancies toward me. How else would you come with the username of unrepentant cynic. Sad that your pathetic life experiences has caused you to be a cyst on the colon of society. |

The defense set the tone from the ffirst play and series that they had to the last lays f the gaame. Penn State was not able to get in any offensive rythem through out the whole game. It is a shame that the goal line stand was not reviewed bcause the defense deserved the recognization of holding Penn State to no ttouchdowns. Go Bucks!

1 But I love the Buckeyes and though I was made at Tressels continued conservative play calling I am sure he knew what he was doing for it was a great win for Ohio State. But it was truly a shut-out. Penn State DID NOT score. and I should know because Ima Idiott |

The defense kept PSU from getting anything going, which gave our offense time to get it together in the third quarter. In particular, the defensive line made things very uncomfortable for Clark

We had to go to a smoky sports bar to catch the game as ESPN 2 and ABC BOTH showed the GT/WF game down here in NC at least through the first half. Missed the beautiful touchdown arc and run to Posey. Called the cable company and advised them that there were more Buckeyes down here than GT and WF combined. They deflected the problem to ESPN. The announcers looked like they must have been a radio crew. May of ESPN did a total 180 from his Game Day rants in jumping on the bandwagon for Pryor. Good for Pryor and the whole team. The Buckeye Nation is smiling today. Great TEAM effort. Can you imagine if ABC and ESPN had both shown GT/WF? Riots would have ensued. I say Rose Bowl, Rose Bowl, Rose Bowl! Give us the Spartans again.

cameron heyward was a monster. he gets the game ball.
GREAT JOB, IRONHEAD! fortunately, the offense took advantage of the excellent field position given to them from the outstanding defensive performance and special teams returns. we need much more of these things that are called 'touchdowns'. they are exciting and apparently are worth TWICE as much as field goals... Heh. i am glad to be proven wrong again, and, i will say this in apology: GO BUCKS! |

The defense for sure. This was another shutout. That guy never scored.

O line and D line played their best game. Heyward referred to Gibson as a beast in the post-game, he needs to look in a mirror, he was all over them regardless of where he lined up.
TP was untouched in the pocket, O-line looked more like a Buckeye O-line. Go BUCKS |

Cameron Heywood gets my Butkus Award vote!!!!!!

Yeah! Big win against UCONN. Your boy's would get whipped on a nuetral site. It's easy for a back up Qb to throw for 300 yards against a depleated weak defense. He would get killed against THE OSU defense.

The O line gets all the credit for this one, we could run, Pryor had time and that that is the key - letting the sophomore settle into his game.

Too bad we can't go back in time and play USC again. Keep getting better each week and close out Iowa & Michigan w/ no mercey!!
