Of course it means a lot. The Cubs are the best team in the league and they have a chance to put another game between themselves and the Cardinals, who just lost to the Red Sox tonight. I wonder what it means to White Sox fans. Wait wait don't tell me. Another chance to show off that World Series ring after the White Sox get swept tonight? Oh yeah I forgot.

The city - or whoever - really must notify the other city residents of this series to give those of us WHO DO NOT CARE a heads up. Obnoxious sports fans.

Hey Dave and Vbear:

Regardless of the outcome tonight, will both teams still be in first place?

That's what I thought. You can continue being internet tough guys now if you want.

What’s really funny is they win 1 World Series in 90 years and all of a sudden they are the Yankees.

If I were a Sox fan I'd be way more concerned with Detroit and Minnesota. Sure you'll still be in first, but will have two teams playing well and moving closer to you.

What's your point? Am I not allowed to banter with White Sox fans because both teams are in first place? I didn't say anything offensive and I wasn't being an 'internet tough guy'. It was a retort to something a Whtie Sox fan said. Get over yourself.

It's ridiculous for any team in MLB to go into Wrigley and expect to win. Not gonna happen.

the final score of this game will be 8-5, and some people pretend to be sports announcers.
