I don't see Ray Allen acting childish like that at all. He made a move for his career, just as owners trade loyal players, w/out a care as long as they get a good return. Since Boston was looking to drop Allen on a team under 500, he was smart to go where he could help a team deep into the playoffs!

Ray Allen was free agent what team he went to was no body business. Free agent mean just that if Garnet & Pierce was Ray real friends they would wish him the best. They can not walk in Ray shoes of make his decisions for him. If they do you not free!

I agree but you forget Ray really was pissed at Doc Rivers for benching him for Bradley and he acted childish and let his ego get in the way. Every year before training camp Doc always said that it is about TEAM not I and he coud not take it, So he went to Miami and didn't start and come off the bench with do problem. I don't blame Garnett and Pierce FUCK Walter Ray Allen and let him keep sleeping with the Enemy.

Ray Allen is a whiny cheap shot artist, and a coward. In our household, we refer to him as "F.P.", which is a shortening of the two word phrase that J.J. Barea used to describe Allen after Allen pulled a cheap shot that decked Barea, and then hid behind his teammates when Barea got back up. Barea got ejected from the Game, but F.P., being the "superstar" he thinks he is, got to continue to play the rst of the game for the Heat. Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are class act future hall of famers that command respect because they deserve that respect. Ray Allen is a B actor who can shoot threes. In that order. F.P.

You're forgetting how they kept using Ray Allen for trade bait. Totally not cool when all Ray was displaying was consummate gentleman "ism" if you will.

If what you are saying is the real reason Ray left Boston then i aree. But if he left because of chasing a ring like Lebron did then i can't be in agreement with you

In my opinion, KG and PP had better career as they were the main men of the Wolves and the Celtics while Ray was less of a superstar with the Sonic.

this is old news

celtics traded ray allen to memphis but the deal didn't go through for some reason. they told him he got traded but then it didn't happen. they wanted to play avery bradley ahead of ray allen. he didn't get along with rondo at all. celtics tried multiple times to deal ray. celtics also sign jason terry before ray signed with miami. altho they offered him 6 mil a year, it was more because they were scared that he would go to miami, they had just signed terry to a contract to assume the 6th man role and wanted to play avery bradley. he didn't get along with rondo and felt betrayed by the celtics (tried to deal him multiple times and they actually told him he got traded at one point). this is known fact, pretty easy to look up

Win at any cost? That's not the point, anyway, "dumb dumb." (By the way, that would correctly be spelled "dum dum", dum dum. It's not literally the word "dumb".) You couldn't judge class if it whacked you over the head. Ray Allen is a whiny coward, whether the Heat win or not. The discussion is about character, not won-loss records or number of titles. Do you respect Isaiah Thomas and his gang of miscreant Pistons who won a number of championships? I don't.
