I guess you would have to be on Facebook. I am getting ready to make this a web page so that those who do not wish to be on FB and there are many can see and post. In the meantime if you have an email you would like to send me I can send you reports on our progress and when I have a webpage up. Thank you for your interest!

kindest regards,

Good luck. How about getting a lawyer to sue this guy for littering the landscape?

Why would anybody traveling want to go down the mountain to the bottom on 250, that is the junkiest and ugliest area there is. The only nice area in the whole city of Waynesboro is the new Target Center and Pelem Drive and Stratford Farms area. Why anybody would want to come to Waynesboro to begin with is beyond me. Augusta Co , yes, and Staunton, maybe, Charlottesville, yes. Waynesboro, your kidding me right!!!

I don't understand why this property has been allowed to deteriorate from the eye sore it became a decade or so ago to dangerous...of course the owner is ultimately responsible, but it appears the authorities sworn to protect and serve are turning a blind eye and allowing the decline to continue...I hope this renewed interest results in getting the owner whatever help is needed to restore one of Virginia's historic landmarks.

Dave,
I was born and raised in Waynesboro and trust me it was not always this way. It used to be a very nice place for people to live and visit. Like most small towns the BIG companies like Walmart and such have put the downtown out of business. To the point of the mountain-when everything was thriving and beautiful people came into Waynesboro and supported it. There is nothing at the top of the mountain that makes people want to stop. People came to the valley when they knew what was down there for them to do. The City of Waynesboro will not get involved on the mountain. They are spending alot of money to revitalize, but if people don't know that they will not come.

Guess what??? No running water at the hotel...wonder if Health code allows operation with no running water. A friend called and they said they would have it fixed before she arrived. This makes things much worse as far as I am concerned.
